In the past I purchased chicken fried rice at Sams. it was a treat and tasted authentic. I bought this at Sams recently and I knew the second I poured it into a bowl that something smelled very different. Instead of getting a whif of soy, maybe ginger or onion, I got something completely off. It’s bacon. Now I live in the Deep South and we love our bacon, but this is not where it belongs. It doesn’t resemble chicken fried rice from a restaurant. I’m disappointed.

I’m so excited to see this back in the store! It’s in a difference box but make no mistake, it’s the exact same rice as the brand that was previously sold at Sam’s club. So good and such a quick and easy meal! You literally tear off a piece of the bag and microwave for 3 minutes but I recommend shortening the cooking time by about 15-30 seconds depending on the wattage of your microwave!

I never imagined this would taste as good as it did. I haven?t microwaved it yet but the stove top fish is absolutely delicious. As close to restaurant chicken fried rice as you could possibly get. Not to mention at $2 per ?bag? this is a very affordable lunch option!!!! Will definitely purchase this again.

Typical Sams, they stop carrying things despite them being a constant sellout. No longer being sold in Bristol, Virginia store for many months now. Not very bright of them. I loved this rice and was okay with the fact that it didn't have much chicken in it. I would throw out the edamame but loved the rest.

This is a great dish when you don't have time and want something really delicious. I use my electric frying pan and add salad shrimp with a couple hard boiled eggs, cut into pieces. Warms up well in the microwave too. Only problem is that it is always out of stock!

We were buying the fried rice and LOVED it when they stopped carrying the plain fried rice and started selling the chicken fried rice. I assumed it would taste the same except with chicken and if I didn't want the chicken the pieces could be removed. I was wrong. It does not have a similar flavor at all. I have started giving bags of it away to our kids and their friends. I am very disappointed. I am even more disappointed that the original fried rice isn't being sold.

Been out of stock for awhile. Tried other varieties meanwhile but the bacon and egg pieces seem to give rice better flavor then those I've purchesed elsewhere. Other varieties have bell peppers instead that over power rice. Quick and easy microwaveable pouches great for a meal.

This chicken fried rice is quick and easy to heat up and serve. I like the individual bags because it's usually just me eating it and I don't have to try to portion it out for correct cooking times. The product is a bit bland but I add soy sauce and a scrambled egg to it and it makes for a pretty good meal. I will buy it again.

I've never had chicken fried rice before and I like it it's a bit on the dry side though and I have to add diced chicken and a little extra salt and pepper. I think with a little bit of chicken broth it would really kick it up a notch. But for someone like me who travels on the road it's simple to either put in a microwave or quickly stir fry so I would buy this again.

The rice itself is has good flavor. The dealbreaker is the gristley so-called chicken. Had to spit out. I used to buy these years ago (easy to take to work and nuke for 3 min). I stopped getting it back then when I started getting gristle in the chicken. (Same reason I won't buy stouffers dinners with chicken). I tried these again this week seeing the different package I thought was new. Nope--just the same. Great rice, unchewable chicken.
