Using this to keep 3 chihuahuas enclosed in mudroom. Great that it's metal & they can't chew through! Bad that the gate didn't reach far enough to latch & we had to bend (squeeze) the gate so it would close. There was a large enough gap between the gate door for one of our dogs to squeeze through so we weaved some striping through the bars. Works great for our purpose now.

I bought this product to keep my dog out of the kitchen. it is too tall for her to jump over but she is able to see me. which i think she likes since she sits there and stares at me. I am 5 ft 5 and the gate comes to my rib cage. I sometimes babysit a 3 and 5 yr old. the gate is as tall as the 3 yr old and he hasnt figured out how to open it. the 5 yr old has. The only down fall on the product it the width of the gate. We can fit threw fine but if you have to carry something you have to lift it up over the gate. After seeing this at our home my brother in law is buying on for their 1 yr old to keep her out of harms way. they love coming here and being in the kitchen and knowing while we are cooking the baby is safe in the next room and we can see her.

I purchased this to use as a cat gate. We needed to keep our cat out of a room without having to install a full door. This works wonders for our situation because the cat can't jump over it or fit through the bars but yet my 4 year old son can easily open it himself. The locking mechanism is a basic baby gate spring loaded lock so in my opinion it's easy for a 3-4 year old to figure out. I would definitely recommend this gate to anyone, it's a great value and a great product.

We bought this gate to use in our church nursery and it is perfect!.Since we have a rental property and have to take it down each week, we do not use the screw-in cups but it still works fine. The only down side is the little tension rods do not screw in, so I hope we don't lose them in the shuffle.

I love this gate so far! My four month old German shepherd can not knock this over like another gate that I have tried. Since you have to mount it to the wall. Other than that everything else with it has been great. I'm not to keen on the site to store feature, it saves money, but takes a while for your item to come in!

Keeps our Boston Terrier in the laundry room while we're away! She was able to clear the other gates we tried. Perfect for what I was trying to accomplish. Easy enough for my 5 year old to operate. Half the price of the Carlton gate I was about to purchase from PetSmart. Very pleased : )

Pros: BEST price of any tall gates; easy to install, tall. Cons: hard to open with one hand; gate opening may be too narrow if you're trying to pass through with a large load of laundry or trash bags, etc; if you use extensions then the gate isnt as sturdy. I have two 95lb dogs and they were able to knock the extended gate down at first. After minor reinforcements, the gate is sturdy enough to hold them back! Still glad to have this gate--Great deal!

We just got a puppy (large breed) and she was able to get over the smaller tension gates we bought but this gate stopped all of that. The walk-through design is perfect for keeping her in 1 area and away from the other animals but still allows us to move around the house freely. As she gets bigger she will probably be able to knock the gate down as we did not use the mounting cups but rather just the tensioner rods to avoid putting holes in the doorway. Overall a great buy!

After getting them installed, they work great. So nice having the opening to go thru without taking down the gate. One thing needs to be stressed, the bottom bar that crosses from side to side, you really need to be careful not to forget it's there when you are going thru the gate, I did trip and fall first time.

We use this at the bottom of our stairs to keep the cat out of the bedrooms. It works great!! It's tall enough to keep her from jumping the gate and the bars are close enough together to keep her from squeezing through. And it was a fraction of the price of similar gates!! The latch for the walk-thru feature is super easy to use! I highly recommend this product.
