We Love the convinence of this gate. It does not require holes in the door and it looks very nice. We receive a lot of compliments on how much better this gate is compared to what we had before. Hopefully you get more in soon. My daughter and her husband and one of my neighbors would like to purchase this gate.

We adopted a beautiful girl- Ibizan Hound / Yellow lab mix. She likes to jump too!. We needed to find the highest possible gate and found it on a pet supply site but checked Walmart before ordering and it was almost 1/2 price! The gate is the perfect size for her and very strong! Easy to use! Love it, love it, love it!

This gate is used to keep my Mother from accidentally falling down stairs. It is a good deterent and bolts into the wall (not tension) so it has a little more support. The gate part is a little narrow for any big guests coming to visit..but we manage for the safety of Mom. The gate is tall and much better than baby or pet gates for our purpose. Not a bad price either. Thanks WalMart

I bought this gate to block the lower stairs in our bi-level home, to keep our Wheaten Terrier in the downstairs family room during the day. So far, so good. Our dog can jump very high, and has managed to get over shorter gates. I installed this gate on the first step for a few additional inches, and she has not gotten out yet (had I installed it on the ground level, I believe she might have cleared the top by now.) The gate is sturdy, but easy to take down or reinstall when needed. The thin, glossy bars make climbing or pushing difficult. The only downsides I have found are the following: 1) When the gate door is open, the clearance space is very narrow (16 inches), so it might not work well in a high traffic area. This may be a bigger problem when the gate is installed on a step (like ours) because you loose some of the step's space, forcing you to pivot on your foot and walk sideways down the step to clear the gate opening. 2) The gate's design (four pins using pressure to wedge the gate between the walls) might not withstand pushing from a larger dog or a determined toddler.

Great pet gate to keep my 2 cats and 2 dogs in my room. Because I don't want my pets to wander all over the house. Got the extra tall feature to keep my 2 big cats (11 and 16 lbs) from jumping over the gate. It's been working great! It was very easy to put up, no installation required. Only complain was took a long time to receive the product (3weeks).

The height of this gate is why I bought it because my 2 year old son can climb over every gate in the house. I wanted him to be safe and this gate did the job. It would be nice if the locking mechanism was a little harder to open so he doesn't figure it out but other then that I found it works well and was fairly easy to install. I was very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend.

My husband and I were so tired of stepping over the gates 20 times a day!! This walk thru gate has been a game changer! It’s so much easier to just open a gate and walk through it instead of throwing your leg up over it. We will definitely be replacing all of our step over gates with these!

The idea of this gate is great. However, we have a pretty standard stairway and the gate is too small we have to unscrew the tighteners so much that if you bump it a little it falls over. If we put the addition on, it is WAY too big. I got this gate for my miniature pinscher and he can fit right through the sides of the gate so we had to put 2x4's in where we had to loosen the screws so that he couldn't fit through. Also the handle is inconvenient. Its good for kids because it's kind of tricky for children, but when you have arms full of groceries it is very annoying.

I bought this gate because it was so tall and it would screw into the wall because our walls aren't the same width all the way up so other gates didn't work. The gate has been a life saver for me, I only wish I'd gotten it sooner since my daughter is 19 months old. The only thing wrong with it is that two of the screws that came with it broke almost instantly into the wall and we had to use our own. If we hadn't had any here I would've given it a lower rating, but since we had some on hand it didn't set us back too much. As far as the gate itself, its very tall, sturdy, and my daughter loves it even though we thought she'd hate it. If it is ever open she has to go close it herself and she doesn't bother trying to run into the kitchen to mess with everything like she used to she just closes and opens the gate like a game, so it's helped especially with putting up groceries and things like that. Overall, gate is worth 5 stars, hardware is 1, but we made it work easily.

I ordered the gate to block off a room from our dogs. The gate was tall enough but it took two hands to open which was a problem when carrying a lot of stuff. It was quick and easy to install. We ended up returning the gate for one that only takes one hand to open and self-closes behind us so the dogs don't run in. Overall, I would say it is a good basic gate if used for a non-high traffic area of the house.
