Bought this to keep toddler on one side and cat on the other side. My cat is small enough to squeeze thru the openings, but we solved for that by ziptying some cardboard to it. Otherwise works fantastic. Very easy to install. We used a powerdrill to attach it to the walls in a hallway.

Installation took a little longer than expected but the gate fits very well. The paint on my door frame is delicate but was not affected at all. the gate has been sturdy and has not needed any adjustment after two months of daily use. just know the gate can only swing in one direction once installed. also came with an extender. My cat has not attempted to jump gate.

Pressure mounted so my gate is in between the stairs and railings had to rig it to fit since it closes by pressing the gate in, if that makes sense. Tall which is great since we have a climber, door entry is tiny and hard to walk through with the toddler. I also wish there was a pin at the bottom to keep it closed when the door was closed my kid already figured out the cheap plastic piece at the bottom to flip it up.

It looks good - but functionality wise, it only really swings one direction once installed. my other ones went both ways. hopefully this lasts longer than 6 months. my last regalos only lasted 6 months (the shorter white ones that open in both directions -- the springs went bad on those. The handle on this doesn't use a spring so will likely last much longer! Much happier with this than the other ones -- just wish it would swing both ways!

The gate serves its purpose, to stop my animals from a room. The gate has a small door that opens, so if you are carrying something wide you have to lift it up and over the gate-even though the door is open. The material is not as solid as I expected for the price.

I have had this gate up for about 1week. It has kept my 2 jack russell puppies where they belong. It is definitely high enough to confine them for some time to come. It was very easy to install and has been very stable. The gate works easily and 1 handed. Good purchase.

With our kids at ages 9 and 7, I never thought we'd be buying another baby gate! Excellent strength and reliability. Easy to install within 3". No holes to be made into our walls. Tall enough for a full grown dog and easy for the family to get through. Door stays open when we need it to. Great find and price!

These were great gates for a pup. The only thing is that you need to use the screw in cups to keep it from moving around in the door frame. I love the height but forgot that the cat may want to pass through when it is shut, the shorter ones he can jump but the tall one I put a stool on either side so he can jump it. It is so nice to be able to open the gate and go through. Especially with my elderly mother. ( you must stress that you must step over a lower support). I know the dog is secure and will not be able to jump this easily. If you tighten it in too much it is hard to get the gate open, that is why the screw in cups help.

Great height. Installation and set up ok. Got this to keep visiting dog out of my kitchen. Note: latch is not the same size on both sides. One size will come loose much easier. Large dog can push the gate open from the short side of latch. Dog can also batter at the gate until the pressure points wiggle loose, allowing the gate leeway to climb under. Should be fine for baby or average dog!

This seems to be a good product, solid, no sharp edges. Used 'as is' in a 32" doorframe, the four pressure pads were not secure as they should be - the four pressure pad adjusment bolts were extended too far to be stable I added 1-7/8" of wood to each side of the door frame and inset the pads ~3/8' deep with a 1-3/8" Forstner bit. This modification exposes much less of the four adjustment bolts and the unit is much more stable. Our Grandson loves it - it helps him to stand and may be an aid to him walking sooner. This product offers extensions to fix wider opening - a six inch one was in the box with ours. I would suggest making the gate/frame about 3" wider, or put a 3-3-1/2" extension in the box since I believe most doorways are 32". Enjoyed adapting this gate to our door (It gave me an excuse to purchase a set of Forstner bits).
