This Pergola looks outstanding! Its a great addition to our backyard. It was very easy to anchor, which I thought it wouldn't be. I haven't noticed anything wrong with it, but i haven't sat and stared at it either. It would be nice if a cover was sold for it. So if anyone has any suggestions on that, plz share!

After reading many reviews, we decided to purchase the 12x20 Beaumont pergola for the far side of our pool area. It is the perfect addition and finishes the space beautifully serving as a separation between the pool area and backyard “fun.” The pergola is real wood and very heavy (when putting together). My husband and I (ages 52 and 46) did it together with help from our 17 year old son when lifting. It took us some time (a full Saturday), but that included organizing the pieces before starting. We also worked slowly as I wanted to be sure we were doing it correctly to eliminate the need to undo and redo something - which would be a lot of work. We chose to paint our pergola (Turkish Coffee by Sherman Williams) to match our Tudor home as the natural stain the wood comes in was too light for our surrounding decor. We also strung lights and added curtains for comfort. This space is a favorite - even amongst the teenagers! We only put our pergola up a few weeks ago, but it’s heavy, solid and obviously high quality. I would highly recommend this particular pergola (12x20 Beaumont). Side note, the delivery was easy and the product arrived sooner than we expected. It comes in 4 large (heavy) boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in July and assembled it myself with my son over several weekends. we did have a few few issues like the concrete anchor, bolts snapped they appear to be made out of aluminum and should be made out of steel. Some of the pilot holes for the purlins did not lineup so we created our own pilot holes. But overall it’s wonderful. I enjoy sitting out in the evenings with shade and coffee on the weekend mornings.

I bought this pergola late last summer and it was put up later in a raised area. I'm very pleased with it, as it looks fantastic. A few people passing by in vehicles have slowed down and looked at it. As the decking around the pergola will be completed soon, I look forward to enjoying it for a long time to come. The instructions and labelling of the associated pieces were as clear as a bell. It is better for two people to put it up as it is rather heavy, but once it is installed, it is eye candy.

Staycation is my back yard. I regret waiting to many years before I added the Backyard Discovery Pergola to my backyard. It’s created a living space I’ve never had in my own yard. My contractor was hesitant when he say the boxes. But I arrived back at noon and it was completed. He said the construction was high quality, instructions were easy. In fact he has recommended and installed several Backyard Disciry Pergolas after his experience with mine. My only regret- not purchasing it sooner. Thank you

We bought this a couple of months ago but had to wait to have slab put in after contractor had a family emergency. Now that slab was put in and waited the 10 days to cure enough my wife and I did the project ourselves which took 2 full days plus stained it. Not bad being in our 70’s. Know that it is done we are loving the time we get to spend using it.

A month had almost gone by and we finally got our money back, I called Backyard Discovery direct and within a few days as promised we got our Pergalo and simply love it! I am a 50 year old woman and I was able to put this up myself. I had my 20 year old daughter help me with lifting the assembled pieces to the top of the pergola while I attached them. All the parts were included and I had no problems with hardware or alignment. It was very easy to assemble because I planned ahead, had the right tools and patience. I assembled it in 8 hours on day 1, I anchored it to the concrete on day 2.

This will be the second summer we have used this pergola. I am still pleased with it. I followed others advice and treated the wood with spar urethane before assembly. It would be easier to assemble with a couple adults. However, I was able to put it up with a little help from my 11 year old daughter. When the Oklahoma heat ramps up, I put a shade cloth over it to provide more shade. Over all I am very pleased with the pergola.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased and put together all on my own this spring 2023, NO missing parts, extra hardware and tools included, simple directions (if you like legos - this is a snap). Overall very solid, I pre coated everything with wood sealer prior to assembly. The corbels were a bit tricky to line up with the pre drill positions but a few 36" wood clamps fixed that simple enough. Nothing but compliments from friends and neighbors.
