Duracell AGM Automotive Battery, Group Size 48 H6

Purchased in-store 12/2024. No issues with the battery at all as of this review. I would considering purchasing again if I'm in the market to replace, despite the $200 price tag ($20 core). Unfortunately, the in-store staff working the area were not the accommodating. I waited way too long for assistance. When the guy did come to assist me, he came off as if I was wasting his time. The person that completed my transaction was very pleasant.

Fit my 2011 Cadillac CTS

Fit great in my 2011 Cadillac CTS. Time will tell for longevity, but the AGM batteries are supposed to be able to be recharged.

Unreliable Battery - DO NOT BUY!

9 days short of one year, when it was newly installed back on 19-Apr-24, this battery failed me, would not start my vehicle. I needed to be jumped. Last year, I was told I needed this Duracell AGM Group Size 48 H6 due to the newer technology in the battery supporting the newer technology in my 2020 vehicle, including charging phones, tables, etc., which my family and I rarely do; but, went with it anyway. The battery performed well until this week. I used my vehicle on Tuesday through the early afternoon. Parked it and did not get back into it until Thursday late morning, so less than 48 hours, the battery failed, would not start my vehicle. There was no door left open, no light left on, no after-market USB cord plugged in, no seat heater left, no temperature control system left on, etc. NOTHING left on which could explain why this battery was fully drained/failed and which I now do not trust. I got a jump from a buddy, ran the vehicle for 90 mins, proving my alternator works. A worker, obtained through Sam's Tire and Battery call center, at my local Sam's thankfully allowed me to come in to have the battery tested and it not only passed but he said the rating and cold cranking amps on it were high and like a new battery - that there was nothing he could do with the battery until Sam's testing system said the battery was failed. I asked him what do I do if this non-trusted battery stands me or my family somewhere? He said there was nothing he could do until the battery show failed on Sam's tester. So what happens when I go on vacation and my vehicle sits for greater than two days at the airport? What happens when I decide to stay home and not drive for a few days? I have never experienced this which what I call 'conventional' batteries. These new batteries, especially this Duracell one, is not to be trusted or recommended, sadly. I am not even going to get started on the Tire and Battery Call Center who, on my first call, asked me for the number I could be reached if we got disconnected. I provided it and when we got disconnected, I never heard back from him. Had to call back in, get a second agent and he was the one who put me in touch with my local Sam's. Thank you Stanley!

Perfect fit for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler

Dropped right in place in my JKU. Fit like OEM , only time will tell if it lasts but I've had great luck with Duracell replacements in the past.
