I got home with these and couldn't wait to have a couple of them for dessert. I was quite surprised when I opened the lid and picked one up how soggy they are! They look crispy in the package. It'd cost as much in gas to go return them, so into the garbage they go. Won't be buying them again.

These turnovers were disappointing. The laminated or phyllo layers of dough were numerous, however when you lift up the fold over part - the dough underneath is still raw and uncooked. Also while trying to cut through the turnovers with a standard paring knife - I found it difficult to cut through the bottom - which also seemed not well cooked. I thought I could somehow salvage them, by opening them up and baking more in the oven, but gave up. Also the amount of cherry jam or preserves in the bottom layer, was not what I would expect. I regret leaving a negative rating - but at almost $5.00 for this set of 8 - I will not be buying them again.

Every time I go to Sam's, I always buy one or two containers of the cherry turnovers. They're not overly sweet (like other brands are), and I admittedly can eat two at a time. I typically heat them up in the microwave for about 20 seconds, and they still are flaky. Pop them in an air fryer or toaster oven for a flakier outer layer. These are my favorite breakfast pastries ever!

I like the turnover pastry part however where is the cherry filling. There is too little filling.

Sure, there was just enough glaze filling to appear like there was something inside but it was quite disappointing....waste of money

I love turnovers, but these turnovers are mostly pastry, I doubt there's even one spoonful in each turnover. Come on, don't be so cheap, put some filling in there!!!

But guess what they dont carry them anymore so disappointed all they have is one kind nasty apple,go bk to cherry better yet blueberry.In the last few months my son & I are really disappointed in Sam's club bakery they use to have there own brownies and those cream cheese filled pumpkin muffins they would also have those raspberry filled flaky bars now all they have is this stuff that's brought in by the cases yes I know it's a warehouse but at least the bakery had s little home town feeling to it.When they do have good bake goods there for parties when you only have two at home a party platter that cost $40 is not what your looking for...! So disappointed so very disappointed in Sam's Club bakery

I usually have a Sam's croissant with my coffee but read the great reviews and thought I'd try these turnovers. They are what you would expect from a mass produced item. While super flaky, the pastry leaves that waxy film in your mouth. The filling is unremarkable and sparse. I'll stick to the croissants.

There's hardly any cherry filling in there to even be able to taste that its cherry. Lots of poor from the pastry part, but no taste of the cherry.
