The drum did last to around 11,000 pages before it started saying I needed a new one. I have had this printer for about 3 years now. So I think that was a pretty good run!

We've used this printer for 2-3 years now, and love it. No problems, does what we want, and we're still impressed by speed. We're just now getting to the point of needing a new drum unit, and we'll see how that goes.

I enjoy using my Brother printer for general printing and these cartridges seem to give me good mileage for the price. Will buy again.

Replaced the drum last week with a brand new unit and it still says it needs a new drum. I can find no information on how to fix this issue online.

My brother printer is old. The drum was busted. I ordered a new one and installed it and now is printing perfectly!
