Perfect. I wanted to give this unit a workout before commenting. I have had no problems with this device. I did however see in the instructions it mentions peeling oranges. I'm not even going to try it. a genius is NOT required to realize oranges would be pushing all limits.

This is my second peeler because I wore the first one out I used it so much. We would not have homemade mashed potatoes without it. I haven't peeled other foods with it but would imagine it would work well. Family members have liked it as well so I have bought them one also. Make sure to wash the dirt off of potatoes first so as not to dull the blade. My first one was white which I would prefer but the color doesn't affect its operation.

It is working for now, and like others, I enjoy watching it peels potato. But here is what seems to be another interesting use for it I wonder why it was not part of its marketing. It can create strips of potato and those are more suitable for stir-frying and shorter time air-frying.

This peeler is great for the money. My wife and I were having a hard time peeling anything but most of all potatoes. Getting tired of baked or microwaved potatoes. now peel and mashed . 4 stars because it is made from plastic. It is electric. However Handle gently

I am very happy with this purchase. I have tried it out on potatoes and apples and it peels them super quick. So much so that I peeled 5 lbs. of apples and then had to think of creative ways in which to use them! I love how the peel comes off in one long strand. I kept "peeling" a potato and turned it into some really good "curly cue" fries. I think I will be using this gadget quite a bit.

I was so excited to finally get 1 of these because it is so hard on my hands to peel potatoes anymore or apples for my grandkids. I read all the directions did everything it said to do. Put an apple on it, it was working great, then halfway through something broke inside and it quit working. Now I am leery about getting another one.

Easy to use, easy to clean, no more hand pain, (small) fits into cupboard so does not take up counter space. Only use occasionally if making mashed potatoes or potato salad. Being a senior citizen, I have arthritis and peeling potatoes is very painful. This automatic potato peeler is the answer. Easy to use and I can put the peels into my air fryer (add a little oil and salt) and make a happy snack for later.

I've had one before but it was manual. LOVED IT! Gave it to my daughter and regretted giving it. So finding this electric one is like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, with the Holiday's coming up. I think every cook should try this Stargtit Rotato Express ELECTRIC peeler. It's NOT JUST for potatoes anymore. And dinner will bee express.

First off I'm keeping in mind that this product only cost $20.00 while writing this review. What I like: It easy to use and speeds up potato peeling a great deal. It's also easy to clean. It can operate on 4 AA batteries or you can use the supplied adapter. Before I get into what I disliked about the product I will say that for the price I absolutely expected it to be made of all plastic. You'll still need a manual peeler to remove the skin on the top and the bottom but that's inherent with the product's design. It's a snap to remove the remaining skin but takes no time at all. That being said here's what I didn't like: Even for $20.00 the plastic is much too cheap and flimsy. They could have used a more durable plastic (not expecting ABS or anything like that for the price). It cuts too deeply which generates a lot of waste. Perhaps they could have designed a simple way to adjust the spring tension so that it doesn't waste so much but for other times you might want it to make deeper cuts. All in all it does a good job and speeds things up quite a bit.
