Let me tell you, if you don't buy this you will regret it later. This thing is such a time saver. I like the fact that it doesn't take but 10 seconds to peel if not less. I like the fact that it is a time saver for me being a single mother of a toddler and a newborn.. only thing I don't like is that the bottom part where you stick the potato or whatever your cutting don't come off and you have to like q tip clean

I bought hese for Christmas gifts for my daughters-in-laws but they needed them now and love having them. We bought them food dehydrators last year, the pealers make it so much easier for them and saves them so much time preparing fruits to dehydrate.

I bought this for myself as a birthday gift and have used it on potatoes and pears. I don't know how I lived without one for so long. I have bought several for gifts for friends. It is sturdy and I would highly recommend it for those who hate peeling potatoes.

If you don't like to peel tata's, apples, pears, etc; or hindered by arthritis, etc; this little gadget may be a great compromise! Downsides: A bit noisy, a bit off in getting a clean peel, and def overpriced ($9.99-11.99 is more reasonable, more sales, better reviews, and less returns). Upsides: Easy to use, lightweight, battery and electric capability, blade is sharp but covered, great design, functions well, saves time. Overall: Good enough for its purpose and fun! For the price, you need more color options - I'd like it in white, but gray would be nice too.

On apples, the Electric Peeler leaves one-eighth inch spiral strips of peel spaced by about a quarter of an inch of removed peel around the apple. It also leaves patches of peel at the top and bottom where the circular shaped blade can not go, so it does not totally peel an apple. None the less, it is a good tool to have if you have a condition that makes peeling difficult.

Although I ordered this the week before Thanksgiving, it didn't arrive until the day after, when I didn't need it. So it sat in its box for 3 months. Over the weekend I decided to unpack and try it. It's so much fun! I even used it to make potato strings that I roasted in my air fryer. You could make zucchini "noodles" with it or anything. It's so simple, yet cleverly designed. Honestly, I figured it was going to be something I would decided to return, but I actually love it! Use it to peel potatoes, apples, whatever you want. Really fun to watch. It is a bit noisy, though.

Great product as it works very well. I am always fearful of using the regular blade peelers as it puts my hands at risk of being cut. This peeler does 95% of the job and then I use the regular blade peeler to finish the potato at the ends. I can even have wine now when peeling potatoes!

First let me say that Im neither paid,nor any incentives for my HONEST opinion here...... I LOVE,LOVE this potato peeler,it has made doing potatoes a breeze! I do have to cut the top %26 bottom peelings off,but sooo what,I dont have to do the whole potato!👏👏 You better grab this while you can %26 its on sale because you WILL thank me later! My mom %26 aunt gort them one after seeing mine in action, it's AWESOME!

I like the idea that was thought of making this product but it is made so cheap. It is not made for anything thing other then for potatoes. It can't even be to large of a potatoes because it will probably tip over it is so light and made out of the cheapest and thinnest plastic. I tried oranges and it peeled it but it kept falling off, when you try to secured the orange the just comes out spreading all over the machine and table. It was a good idea but doesn't work to good on nothing but small and medium potatoes.

Perfect. I wanted to give this unit a workout before commenting. I have had no problems with this device. I did however see in the instructions it mentions peeling oranges. I'm not even going to try it. a genius is NOT required to realize oranges would be pushing all limits.
