I love this little thing. it's so easy to peel anything. I've even peeled little fingerling potatoes and it does a great job. I have arthritis and it's hard for me to use a regular hand peeler without dropping what I'm trying to peel or cutting myself.

I have the manual model and this electric model is not any faster. That was a little disappointing. It looks like they use the same blades, which is good. I have lots of blades still. Be sure to seat the potato firmly on the bottom pegs to keep it secure while it rotates.

I originally bought it at Amazon and returned it bc I thought that it was used. I think that this one from Walmart may have been used, too. Unsure, but I kept it. The blade that was already on it didn't work initially and only cut the potato on one side. I was going to return it. But, I switched blades and it worked like a charm. The original blade also worked, so it may just need to be adjusted if it doesn't work initially. It's very loud, but IDC. It's worth it. I like not having to worry about cutting my hand when peeling potatoes. Plus, it saves time.

Although I ordered this the week before Thanksgiving, it didn't arrive until the day after, when I didn't need it. So it sat in its box for 3 months. Over the weekend I decided to unpack and try it. It's so much fun! I even used it to make potato strings that I roasted in my air fryer. You could make zucchini "noodles" with it or anything. It's so simple, yet cleverly designed. Honestly, I figured it was going to be something I would decided to return, but I actually love it! Use it to peel potatoes, apples, whatever you want. Really fun to watch. It is a bit noisy, though.

I bought this for myself as a birthday gift and have used it on potatoes and pears. I don't know how I lived without one for so long. I have bought several for gifts for friends. It is sturdy and I would highly recommend it for those who hate peeling potatoes.

I bought hese for Christmas gifts for my daughters-in-laws but they needed them now and love having them. We bought them food dehydrators last year, the pealers make it so much easier for them and saves them so much time preparing fruits to dehydrate.

this works Fabulous on basic white potatoes. so fast .so efficient. I just have to hand peel the enda and the occasional eye. i tried kn sweet potatoes which have a much higher water content and typically "feel wet" on the outside skin. it struggled and skipped areas. If I had drier sweet potato skins I am sure it would work better

This contraption is an absolute piece of garbage. It is extremely lightweight and tips easily. It turns on by itself and doesn’t peel anything properly. It either peels too much off of the potato or not enough causing me to have to use a peeler anyway. Even with slight adjustments I couldn’t get this thing to work properly. It doesn’t peel apples either. Don’t buy into the fake reviews like I did. I do not recommend.

My wife is suffering from arthritis, but her famous mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving and Christmas are a must. I bought this peeler to help take care of the 80 lbs of potatoes which needed peeled. My grandson and I did this task in about 40 minutes. This peeler was so efficient, little to no waste, and super easy to clean up. My wife has recommended this to about five friends so far and all five are planning on buying it. A MUST to save those hands and fingers.

The art of putting the fruit, vegetable, or in my case, an apple on the machine to get it peeled is a little tricky; even trickier to remove since one has to be rather careful in removing the apple and then readjusting the blade arm. The is a whole section of apple which remains unpeeled at the top and bottom. The machine just peels the larger circumference. To make several apple pies in one go is not as quick as I had desired. But, all in all, this little gizmo is helpful. Wise to read and re-read the instructions several times for raising the blade arm, for cleaning it and for replacing the peeling razor (extras stored under the main body). The materials used in creating this Electric Peeler are a little light...mostly plastic or something. So far, it works reasonably well.
