I’ve bought a watermelon, which looks good . When I came home and cut it , I saw that the whole watermelon was spoiled inside. I had to throw it out . Disappointed(

This time watermelon is not good, Skin is very thick, red part no taste, like plastic . Sam club always has good things, but this time the watermelon is not good.

As soon as I inserted the knife the watermelon exploded! Last year I tried 3 different watermelons and 2 had the big cracks in them and 1 just had no flavor..

Its hard to get fresh fruit from Sam's. It's a hit/miss. Frequently, It's a miss. Bought a watermelon that wasn't quite ripe. Didn't return it because i didnt want to travel back to Tallahassee.

10.00 was too much for an off-season not ripe watermelon. I will wait for summer next time. The outer portion was super green and the center was about to start growing!!! Not edible.

Don't buy in winter! To many that's intuitive but I assumed since they are available, they must be good. Our watermelon looked fine on the outside but was rancid inside. Cutting into it was the nastiest food experience Ive had. Horrid smelling, rotten watermelon juices spilled everywhere with the first cut and the smell and sight once opened made me gag. Don't be tricked! Wait until summer, then Sam's does great with their watermelon.

We all know how difficult it is to select a watermelon. Looks beautiful on the outside, meets all the crucial tips that your grandparents told ya about, you get it home, cut into it just to find out that you’ve selected a dud. This watermelon wasn’t ripe at all, it was mostly colorless inside. White - like rind pretty much throughout. Did taste it, crunchy but obviously there was no juicy watermelon flavor. Had to toss it to the woods. Perhaps, I select a better one next time or take granny with me!! LOL!

Watermelon at Sam’s is hit or miss. You are taking a chance when purchasing this item. We have had good and bad melons from Sam’s. You can get your money back in the event that you pick one that is not so crisp or juicy, but then you’ve wasted your time and you have no melon for the family. I would not recommend these unless you have a kit of time in your hands and don’t really care if you have a good melon or not.

I know how to pick good watermelons. The last couple that I have chosen have been very sweet and had good flavor and texture. The only thing, is I wish I could purchase non GMO melons. The supposed seedless ones that Sams sells have seed all over in them and the last two were black seeds - smaller, yes, but still black seeds that I don't care for.

We ate watermelon from Sam's Club over the weekend and it was very good. So, today we bought one at your west Knoxville store. It was NOT good at all! First of all it wasn't seedless and certainly wasn't tasty at all. I will end up tossing an $8 watermelon!
