I'm surprised at some of the comments. Most of the watermelons I've purchased have been very good. Every now and then I wish I had made a different pick but for the most part, I'm very satisfied. And I'm a very picky person when it comes to fruit..

Please stop freezing your watermelons! It ruins the texture and taste! I bought three watermelons to cut into chunks and put in the refrigerator for a quick and healthy snack. After cutting all three, my bowl is only 3/4 full because almost half of each watermelon is mushy and I had to throw them away. The watermelons have been hit and miss all summer. Fresh watermelon should not look or have the texture and consistency of stage 2 baby food.

Both times I bought them they were bad I will never buy them again.
