Rotten to the core. I don't think I'm buying watermelon from Sam's anymore. Good price, yes, but it gets thrown out immediately. I did get a refund though.

The watermelon looked great on the outside and had the positive hollow thumb. I refrigerated the melon and went to cut it and eat it three days later and it was rotten in the middle.

I cut the watermelon the day after purchase and it was completely inedible inside. The inner rind had an orangey color and it was like spaghetti inside. Very disappointed, especially for the premium price I paid.

Delicious watermelon. Worth the price! I compared the price at a supermarket who had a sale if 3lbs/0.99 and I would have spent more at the supermarket abd the quality wasn't as good

Sam's watermelon quality of taste was extremely poor. Specifically, soggy and mushy on the inside. Just seems the melon should not be sold at this time of the year

Had a sewer water smell. Taste sewer water too. Had to return. Very smelly. All watermelons smell like they were grown in sewer water. Ewwww... Don't buy. I tried three. All sewer water smell. Retired all three.

This watermelon looked very good. Bright yellow bottom is what I look for however it was not sweet and had overripe spots. Must have been picked green so even firm spots had no taste.

Why are watermelons not grown like years ago. I bought it for the price and size. I threw half in the garbage. It was watery and had big white stems in it. Not Sam’s club fault but the farmers fault. Walmart and Publix are the same.

Not sweet and over ripe

None of the watermelons at any store have been great this year. The watermelons at Sam's have been good. I always look for the watermelon with the most yellow skin on it (it supposedly indicates it was allowed to ripen in the field). I will only buy watermelons that are grown in he USA because I have never had good luck with the watermelons grown in other areas.
