Dill overkill

I never had Chick-Fil-A nuggets so I can't compare. I like the texture and light breading of this MM brand. I find the dill taste good also. Only way too much dill. Overwhelming. Could be an attempt to mask the preservatives after taste. Still much better than the Tyson bites. I've tried most all Tyson frozen chicken goodies. All are bad tasting to me from preservatives after taste. Whoever makes these nuggets for MM brand would be better to tone down the dill.

Chick-fil-A copycat

My family absolutely loves these nuggets. They taste just like Chick-fil-A, especially when does l dipped in Chick-fil-A or Polynesian sauce. Love being able to feed our family of 5 (multiple times) for less than a single trip to Chick-fil-A would cost us, and love being able to have them in Sundays when they are closed. Have recommended them to serval others (including 1 with a peanut allergy who can't eat Chick-fil-A) who have all also loved them.

Too much pickle flavor

I wanted to love this chicken nuggets. They are sold at a decent price point and the chicken seems to be of a good quality and a great texture. The one downside is the very strong pickle flavor you get in every bite. Don't get me wrong, I do love pickles. The pickle is just too overwhelming for the nugget. If they started making them with a little less pickle flavor, they would definitely be a staple at our house. As for now, our kids just don't like them.

Use an air fryer

I agree with everyone else that the pickle flavor is overwhelming but I noticed that when I make these in the air fryer the pickle flavor isn’t as strong. We really enjoy these ever since we started doing them in the air fryer. 390° for 8 minutes can’t beat that.

Not good

These were a waste of $12. It is not an over exaggeration when I say they tasted like straight plastic!! It was like chewing on a ziploc baggy & it TASTED unsafe. I was excited to try them because they smelled really good, but had to throw the whole bag out after trying them. Please check how these are packaged

Pickle-y Chicken

These are supposed to be similar to a famous chicken restaurant. They are much more pickle-y than the restaurant. A little too pickle-y for my taste. Another adult loved them, while kiddos hated them. All a matter of preference I suppose. The quality of the meat itself is good, and the ease of cooking is fantastic. They say 5 minutes in the air fryer, but they needed more than that to completely heat them.

Surprise Taste

I didn't know that when I bought these, they had a hint of dill mixed in to the flavor of the chicken. I don't really like the taste of the dill. I was just expecting breaded chicken bites similar to Chick-fil-A. It doesn't say that a hint of dill is mixed in to the taste, but there is a picture of dill pickles on the packaging. I guess, my bad.

What is the point of adding dill?

I read many reviews where people complain about the "dill" taste and they get a standard response from John Soules Foods, who I assume is the manufacturer. Basically it states they "add" dill flavoring, however the package states no such thing on the ingredients. ???

Hi, FoodDad. Sorry you didn't like our Member's Mark Southern Style Chicken Bites. Regarding your question about where the addition of dill flavoring is mentioned on the package, you can find this on the back of the bag in the paragraph located just above the heating instructions. You are correct that dill is not specified in the ingredients list. We simply list "spices" therein. Again, sorry these didn't meet your expectations. We do value your input and appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Please know that you may also contact the Sam's Club Member's Mark Call Center at Member’s Mark Call Center at 888-301-0332 (M-F, 8am to 5pm CDT) for additional customer service.

Weird taste

These taste like plastic or some chemical. My son tried it and agreed with some folks here that it takes like Chik-Fil-A with pickles. Very strange he said that, and then I confirmed looking at some posts here. I can not eat them though. They are in the garbage

Ken, thank you so much for letting us know. Our Member's Mark Southern Style Chicken Bites do not contain any chemical flavorings but do contain a hint of dill which mimics that pickle flavoring. Quality is gone, not as good

These were great a few years ago. The quality has really gone down severely the past couple years. The pieces of chicken breast had been great, but now it's as if nearly inedible scraps are used. Flavor is similar to Chick Fil A. If they'd go back to better quality chicken again instead of scraps, they'd be amazing again.
