I feel the need to echo the other reviews that complain about the surprise pickle flavor because the response from Sam’s repeatedly argues that the flavor is listed on the back of the bag. I don’t read the back of the bag when I’m buying chicken nuggets that aren’t labeled as having a flavor. My response to that is if a food item has a BIZARRE flavor like pickle juice, it needs to be in the title on the FRONT of the bag. I hate waste, and no one in my house would eat this garbage, and we like pickles. I want my money back!

These have a pickle flavoring added to them. It is mentioned, on the back of the package. If you like that, they're great. My kids do not. I'm not a fan either. I just wish it had been more clearly advertised as such on the front of the package. The other nuggets by this brand are great.

We used to buy the Simmons Chicken Bites at Sam's and tried these when the others were no longer available. My kids LOVE them cooked in the air fryer and said they taste just like the CF fast food nuggets they get on the weekends as a treat. We didn't think the dill flavor was overpowering at all and the meat of the nuggets seems to be tender and not stringy at all in the 4-5 bags we've bought so far.

These are the worst chicken bites I’ve ever tasted. I have no idea how so many people recommend them and say they taste like chick fil a. They absolutely do not. If you are obsessed with pickles you might like these but my kids and I all hated them. Threw out the entire bag right away. These taste like pickle flavored chicken. Gross

I couldn’t find our usual chicken fingers at the store so I thought I’d give these try after reading the reviews. I figured there would be 50/50 chance the taste would ok and the kiddo wouldn’t be able to actually taste pickles when dipped in sauce. Nope. I’d say these are probably only enjoyed by those who really, really, REALLY like pickles. And salt. For what it’s worth, I like pickles! A lot. But I personally found this chicken gross and couldn’t eat it. My daughter almost gaged (but in all fairness, she hates pickles). The chicken cooked up good in the oven, no gross pieces, but lots of mix on each piece if that’s your thing. But…. It was like eating a hot, squishy pickle with batter, so unfortunately, these were not for our house.

I thought these would be simple an good but they tasted like fish to me. Then another family member said its a dill pickle after-taste. Either way we probably wont even finish this bag. Checked with extended family and they already thrown a bag out!

I saw many reviews on Youtube that said these were like the famous fast food restaurant that doesn't open on Sundays, It is NOTHING like their nuggets. The breading is like the heavy pepper breading found on original recipe KFC or on scratch Chicken livers, It is great, very spices flavorful. The chicken is a major let down, it was tougher to chew than natural breast meat, I'm never impressed when you can clearly tell it is meat glued processed chicken, Cubed to form bite size blocks. Cubed is not a natural chicken shape. I would have given it a 10 if it were real unprocessed breast meat or at least odd ragged shapes that fooled me into thinking it was straight from chicken. I would choose this over cheap nuggets, but not before real breast meat chunks not processed.

Years ago these were delicious but the bags we've bought over the past year or so are not good. The flavor is fine but the texture is off. We even air fry them for 8 minutes (vs the 5 it says on the bag) and they're very soft and squishy. It gives me the feeling that they're not fully cooked even though the bag says they are and that texture and feeling grosses me out.

These were awful. Top ten worst frozen foods ever. When you open the bag, the smell of pickle juice is overwhelming and does not dissipate after baking. They were so pickle flavored that my tongue and mouth tasted of pickle for hours afterwards. My teenagers didn't mind them so much, but I found them to be inedible. Good pieces of chicken, not emulsified chicken bits, but the flavorings were awful.

After seeing some reviews decided to give these a try, BIG MISTAKE. The pickle flavor, aftertaste or whatever you wanna call it IS REAL. It's incredibly strong, as if these chickens were submerged in pickle juice for a week. Even if you like pickles, the flavor is so strong chances are you'll hate it too. Not only that, but whatever the breading is made of also left big black pieces of something in my air fryer, something the just bare brand never has done. Very glad sam's accepts returns on this. In short, skip this, thank me later.
