Great Hearing Aids

I bought theses several months back. Most of the negative reviews are by people that did not reach out to the manufacturer. I did, they solved all issues.The hearing aids need to be charged in the base, with the base fully charged, but not plugged in. When you do that they charge and work great. The customer service from Lucid has been outstanding. If you work with Lucid you will find out that they are great, and the hearing aids work well.

Initially difficult to set up the app and to get the frequencies set correctly. Once seated correctly in the ear, work great. Have only had them 2 weeks. Don’t know how they will perform long term.

App Needs Work, Sound Quality is TBD

Still getting used to these. The 'bluetooth' function via the app is frustratingly hard to connect - for some reason. It takes several attempts to connect. But you nave to power them off and on several times to finally connect. I have owned and worn these now for almost a week, and it seems the app has some bugs that need to be worked out. I spoke to a tech support guy, and he said as much. Otherwise, the speech clarity is just "OK" but hoping it improves over time. I have the 100 day guarantee, so I am going to keep using them, HOPING for improved clarity. I prefer the 'in-ear' type, but thought I'd give this a try.

I don’t like the fact that when you’re eating it’s really loud. They are hard to get into the ear correctly. Hard to line up into the case so they will charge properly. When I called Lucid and left a message to be called back, no one returned my call. I am still getting used to them.

Stopped Charging difficult to adjust

The left hearing aid stopped charging after 2 weeks. I returned them to Sam’s wanting them replaced with a working pair. Sam’s just refunded my money. Now Sam’s says this model is not available. These are very difficult to adjust. Volume and program(s) can only be adjusted when aids are in the charger so it is a hit-and-miss proposition. For example, they go in the charger adjust, back in the ears, back in the charger, etc. If the aids are not exactly in the ears to the exact depth they squeal, too far out, you can’t hear. Too far in they squeal. The depth window is very narrow. There are no instructions in the manual on how to use the Lucid wave function.

DON'T BUY! JUST AN AMPLIFIER W/ HORRIBLE FEEDBACK!

This is NOT a hearing aide. It is a $799.00 amplifier! It would not stop this SCREECHING SOUND (Sams Hearing Center said it was "feedback" that cant be stopped. You have to take the Hearing aides OUT of your earas & put BACK into the charging base in order to adjust the amplification... BACK & FORTH, BACK & FORTH.!!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!! THEY ARE BEING RETURNED TODAY!!!

Paid over $800 in 2024 programming Tax. Waste of money and make a big mistake asno warranty after one year.Not,ifetime support as mentioedin ad. After to years dead battery. Can not replaced by Lucid ad suggest to juk and buy a new set ???Rip off. Lucide dos not provide repair or battery chage for a fee as it said Junk it? Hard to believe bt this is the truth after 2 years of use with dead bttery and cannot replcebu its own Lucid company
