I've been looking for a bottle for some time and finally stumbled on a bottle of voyage 24. I'm glad I found it. Very pleasant on the nose and palate! I've never experienced those notes in any other bourbon. Hints of banana and coconut and vanilla. Quite the departure from my normal favorites. I should be telling everyone it's awful so there's more for me!

Here's a bourbon that is not to be missed! Your palate will immediately get a hint of the salty natural flavors bred into this elixir due to the voyage it has taken. This is one to enjoy neat or with a single cube, and especially with friends. One thing that I have learned is to purchase extra bottles of the particular voyage I enjoy most before they're gone from the shelves, as that individual voyage (temp., seas, etc.) cannot be replicated!!! Voyage 21 and 23 are the bottles at the top of my to-share-with-friends list! Each voyage presents it's unique flavors...don't miss out on this exceptional bourbon!

Purchased Voyage 20 last April for an Anniversary gift to my husband. I have never been a Whiskey drinker, but that all changed after that bottle. We have now tried many voyages and get excited to compare. Price is steep overall which makes it difficult to be a regular consumer.

I'll be the first to admit that I was hesitant on purchasing this bottle. I was excited about the uniqueness of the aging process but worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations. I was wrong. The flavor of this juice is fantastic! Specifically, I have Voyage 22 as a Wheated Single Barrel Selet. This won't be my last bottle of Jefferson's Ocean!

I first read about Jefferson’s Ocean in Popular Mechanics and it peaked my interest. About a week later I bought my first bottle. This bourbon is simply amazing. I shared my bottle with friends and family and it didn’t last long. I’m on bottle number 2 now and there will be a 3,4,etc. This has become my favorite bourbon.

This was the 5th bottle in my bourbon collection... which has grown substantially with great woe to my bank account. This is fun bourbon with interesting flavors, but they tend to fall flat for a bourbon at this price point. I have been sipping on the Voyage 17 for the past ~2-years and its safe to say it has "breathed", but the flavors have not really improved. If you are looking for a Ocean bottle I would recommend the Ocean Rye as it is more robust and takes you on more of a flavor journey.

My girlfriend found me a bottle of this for Christmas, the concept alone was awesome to me since I grew up loving pirates and the ocean. It didn't take me more than one drink to realize its no gimmick, this bourbon has incredible flavors and smoothness to it, I couldn't compare it to another bourbon (that I've had at least).

My wife got me my first Voyage for Christmas in 2022. Even though it is a higher percentage it was easy on the pallet and smooth going down but it let you know it was there for the journey. It didn't over power your senses, but made you appreciate you had each of them. First a beautiful golden color that feels like it's flirting with your eyes. Second, the smell that let's you know you have a Jefferson's bottle right in front of you, but you can also smell the sweet Salty ocean air that helped create this perfection of a great idea. It doesn't burn your nose but hugs each nostril to pull you in closer to enjoy the voyage it took, as if you were right there with every sniff. Third the taste. My experience is a mini vacation for you mouth. From your first taste and tingle of the tongue with your first sip, to your last sip, it is an experience you want to find out what it does for you. Each sip is different and rememberable. It has a mouth feel that is all there but enjoyable that says, this is the journey we've been waiting for. Every sip is smooth like silk across your body but for your tongue. Forth is the feeling you get with each glass. First your stomach says thank you to the other 3 senses for not taking all day, and is now excited he gets to enjoy the party too. All three senses are now telling your body to do a little groove dance and then you do a "You did a dang good job with this Jefferson's Ocean" nod of approval. Then lastly you hear yourself say......Ahhhhh, that was good!!!!

I've now had three different voyages (17,22,& 23) each has it own unique flavor profile. 22 is a wheated mash bill so even more of a departure from the standard. Common across these are the Carmel Corn flavor from the barrel and some brine. The dominance varies across the voyages in my opinion. Overall, the flavors from the barrel and environment come through. My assumption is the sloshing in the barrel highlights these note. It's a go to on the weekends or to share with friends. The bourbon is darn good and the story adds to the experience.

Bought this just to try and I can say I was not disappointed. For the price and flavor it is one of my favorites and will continue to be a staple bottle in my collection and as an enjoyable drink. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have had from Jeffersons.
