Recently purchased this unit. Upon initial start I had to manually choke the generator. I was aware there had been some trouble with the auto choke on these units. I did find the connecter on the auto choke was not plugged into the module. When that was fixed the generator has started and run flawlessly. It’s pretty quiet and runs everything need on my fifth wheel.

Just received a few days ago and very happy so far. Charged the battery for a few hours with the included charging cord, poured the oil and fuel in and it fired right up. Let it run for a while to gently break it in and ran great with no issues. Pretty quiet for a generator, also.

This gen runs our 30 amp, 15000 btu AC camper just like it was plugged into a electric post at a campground. Now we can go any where to camp! Love camping at primitive sites in the National Forest for free and our AC and TVs still work. This gen will run for 18 hrs on a tank!

We've run a food trailer for several years and I've been breaking my back loading and unloading a larger (8750KW) generator. A friend suggested I try his Westinghouse iGen4500. We used his once and LOVED it so much we purchased our own. I can now lift the generator into the truck without ramps. The iGen4500 is so quiet, that we only place it 50' away from the trailer instead of 100' like the larger one. Most importantly, considering the current gas prices, we are using less gasoline. Our old generator would use 4+ gallons over six hours. The iGen4500 used only a little more than one gallon. We love our new Westinghouse iGen4500!

I use my generator to camp while horseback riding. I prevationally purchased an i 2500 to use while horseback camping, but at the time I did not have a living quarter horse trailer with an AC. Now that I do have the living quarter horse trailer I decided to purchase the IGen4500 C. This generator is packed with so many useful bells and whistles on it that the leading generator used for RVs does not have. I love the power start, and the remote start will keep me from going out in the cold or rain to fire up my generator when I need it. This generator runs as quiet as my 2500 Westinghouse, which is music to your ears when you’re camping and several people are using generators at the same time. The pull handle makes it useful to get it where I need to move it, to get it out of my horse trailer down the ramp and where I plan on running it. The large capacity fuel tank will allow it to run up to 18 hours or more depending on what I have plugged into it at that time. The digital display gives the approximate hours of run time on that tank of fuel, what the current load rate is, and how much fuel remains. I love that it has the 30 amp RV plug on it. The two carry handles on top make it easy enough for a friend and me to carry it together when I have to lift it up. It comes with wheels, so no added expense to buy a wheel kit. It has an automatic choke so we don’t have to worry about choking it before you start it. And best of all it fired up the very first time with one push of the on and off button right out of the box. And I saved about $2000 compared to the leading brand. I hope this review will help you to make up your mind on your next generator purchased as well.

I just got my generator and did my test runs on it. The machine is extremely quiet for the size of it and surprisingly light. It handled a shop vac and a hair dryer no issues bringing the usage up to 2.6 kw. 2 pushes of the electric start initially fired it right up! I am looking forward to powering my 15000 but trailer AC this summer with it!

I bought this Generator in September for my travel trailer. I wanted to be sure I had enough power to fully power the 30 amp circuit with no problems. This generator definitely fit the bill. I have taken it on a hunting trip and of the 4 groups I was with this was the only generator that could also power a compressor, We had some flat tires. This generator is also remarkably quiet and long last. You can easily have a conversation standing right next to it. This is an outstanding unit so far.

I have not had it a long time. First time starting it up to break-in, it started first time. I have been using it to run lights and air compressor in my garage. Been using it to run my toy hauler. Works perfectly. Pros: super super quiet. Equal to a Honda. It has a remote, plug-in battery charge, a function monitor, screw in oil funnel which is great, fuel filter when pouring gas into it, and all the controls are easy to read and understand. Very user friendly. And it’s easy to move around with the handle. Cons: access to the oil compartment is a little small but I have big hands. So far, this has been a great generator. Extremely happy with it.

I have had nothing but problems with this generator. I bought it to use with my RV. Fron the beginning, the run-time readout didn’t wotk and it kept tripping offline under light load. I finally took it in for warranty repairs and found out that inly the parts are civered under warranty, but, the labor is the big expense. The repair shop was not avke yo get the run- time indicator working after replacing parts and many hours of labor. They suggested that i “just look in the tank” to see how much fuel is left. I am now on an RV trip and can’t get the generator started. Spend the extra miney and buy a reliable generator. Don’t get stuck with a piece of junk that won’t start when you need it!

We bought this for our pop up camper so needed to be sure it was quiet enough to run without waking us. Had an issue when we first unboxed the unit. Called customer service and they had it fixed within minutes. GREAT SERVICE!! Took it for our first trip, ran smooth and quiet, no further issues.
