only 3 stars for the moment because the generator came with a faulty choke that does not work and the push start button does not work. Will give 5 stars when these issues are repaired. I believe this generator will be a great fit for me after the repairs.

Received my generator 2 months after purchase due to the hurricane in Puerto Rico. Everywhere was sold out and back ordered. This generator is pretty quiet when in low energy mode but can be fairly noisy when at full capacity. That's typical of any generator though. It easily runs my AC unit which is why I got the 4500 model. When the AC is not in use this generator handles all my needs with plenty of power to spare. I performed all the startup maintenance and the generator started easily enough. I have since had some minor issues but nothing a competent home mechanic can't figure out. The handle can be awkward to get to on the bottom of the generator. The auto start and remote start features are excellent. As long as the auto choke is working correctly it starts up immediately. This generator is a great value and I would recommend it to anyone who needs reliable portable power.

Just set up my new I Gen 4500 and am running it for the first time. Everything has worked well so far. Only complaint is that the oil dipstick is nearly impossible to read. Other than that, very pleased with the purchase. Surprisingly quiet and remote start and front wheels are a great feature.

Bought this inverter generator for my 30 amp TT and oh man let me tell you I was surprised. First off after unboxing it and got it ready with oul and gas it started right up with the remote start, push start and pull start. Then after it was running I plugged my TT into it and went inside started turning everything on that would possibly run on shore power. As I was sitting inside my TT I couldn't even hear it running compared to my other generator. So now when I go dry camping I dont have to listen to my loud generator. Very pleased with my purchase of the product and a great investment.

I bought the Westinghouse I5000c generator mainly because of the Westinghouse name.Ut has so many great features on it, not the least which is a handle to move it around. Runs quiet as advertised and the startup was a simple all around operation. I am looking forward to many great years out of this baby!!

I did a lot of research before choosing the iGen4500 and found nothing on the market that had comparable starting and running wattage, remote start and stop, and built-in wheels and dragging handle for the advertised MSRP (and I found it for less than the MSRP). I have a new RV and my old Honda 3000 wouldn't power the AC. I also really wanted a remote start/stop. Everything else in this price range (or higher) is only in the 3200 - 3500 starting watt range. Admittedly, I haven't used it camping yet; I just took it out of the box today. Set up was extremely easy. The oil, funnel, and very easy to follow instructions were included. I took me about 10 minutes to read the instructions, put in the oil and gas, and plug in the battery (which was pre-charged with 12.7 volts). I pushed the remote start button and it started up within 3 seconds. I tested everything and it all worked. It runs about as quiet as my Honda inverter, with way more features. They also included a plug in AC powered battery charger and sparkplug wrench.

I did some research and decided on the Westinghouse IGEN4500. It's a great size for our needs to go camping and/or as home back up for power outages. I ordered it online and it arrived packaged well and started on the first try. So far I've only ran the break in 5 hour period and a mock run for a power outage. Performance was excellent! Thanks Westinghouse, Larry

I purchased this Generator ( my firist one ever) for a camping trip to power a 22 foot bumper pull camper. This unit worked flawlessly. followed the instructions and had no issues. Just read reread and made sure I did not miss anything in preping. Hope to use again in the next 4 weeks when it is colder.

I recently purchased this generator, after reviewing a lot of different models. I'm glad I selected this one. It's especially quiet, which will be perfect for trips with our travel trailer. It's not too heavy, so easy to move around. It seems to run well with a load. My only complaint? The instructions told me to add the entire bottle of oil included, but the unit didn't take it all and overflowed. If I knew there was oil remaining in the unit, most likely from the factory testing, I would have paid closer attention when filling. Overall, I'm very happy with this unit.

We just purchased the iGen4500 as we camp a ton over the Summer. Got it home, pulled out of the box, followed the setup instructions and BAM it was up and running. We can power almost our whole camper with this generator and love that its super quiet and has the remote starter!! Will definitely recommend to my friends and family
