I bought this unit a couple of weeks ago, it took about 30 minutes to add the oil, connect the battery and add fuel. It started on the second attempt (after opening the fuel valve); I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is compared with my old generator. Will be taking to my hunting camp in a couple of weeks for regular duty.

Battery was not charged when received. Also did not find instructions on how to do the manual choke if necessary. It was an easy start after the battery was charged. Have not really used it as of yet, so so far so good. Will update once we have used it.

Easily one of the best generators on the market. Super quiet, powerful, and efficient. And you can buy 2 of these for the price of a lesser optioned eu3000i. The remote start and auto choke make starting it up in the morning as easy as pushing a button from the warmth of your bed.

I received my new IGen 4500 yesterday and put it to work right away. I love the features this Inverter offers such as remote start and the digital readout for power usage, gas level, time remaining, and total time (helps in keeping up with maintenance). The main reason for this purchase was to provide flexibility to camping in remote locations. I hooked up the generator to the camper and turned-on various combinations of appliances (including air conditioner) and was very happy with the results. The IGen 4500 kept on running smoothing and quietly! So far so good. Suggested improvement: Oil drain plug access and/or quick drain kit

I bought this product a month ago and went to use it when hurricane MILTON hit Florida it would only produce half power fortunately i had my 22 year old one that I was replacing to get me through 4 days of no power ... Needless to say very DISAPPOINTED Would Not Buy Again

This generator checked all the boxes for me including wireless starting, quiet, large fuel tank. Because of my extensive research I was well aware of the problem with the auto choke. Since I am capable of fixing it, I went ahead and bought it. Mine did have the problem with the disconnected auto choke wire as well as my connector was broke. After I fixed the connector the generator ran fine. I did the proper break in which includes installing a magnetic oil dipstick and running the generator under various loads drain oil and repeat. The pictures below show the metal particles that were collected by the magnetic dipstick during the break in. Look forward to many years of service.

I bought this inverter/generator this week in the event that our power goes out during a storm or for any other reason. It was so easy to set up and crank. It runs super smooth and is very quiet. When you use the ECO feature it is even quieter. This generator is perfect for my temporary needs when we lose our power.

After months and months of research, my husband decided on the Westinghouse iGen4500 generator. We could not be more excited with how smoothly the generator fired up. We are excited to take it out camping this next week and try out the remote start/stop feature!

Just received my Westinghouse iGen4500. Fired up on first start with the remote start. Super guiet compared to other generators I've owned. The telescoping pull handle makes it really easy to move around. I would definitely recommend this generator to anyone!

We bought this a month ago and have used it a few times while camping. It powers our 31-foot trailer and we have had no issues. It is simple to start and is fairly quiet. It runs everything we need - microwave, air conditioner, fridge, and lights. It could not power our air conditioner and microwave at the same time - but this is not a big deal for us. The displays (Fuel Level, Power Output, Remaining Run Time, Voltage Output, and Lifetime Hours) are easy to read from a distance. We are happy with this purchase.
