I picked up the iGen5000c generator thinking it would sound like a lawnmower wrestling a bear. Instead? Whisper quiet. I’m talking ninja-sneaking-through-your-backyard quiet. The first time I turned it on, I actually thought it wasn’t working until I noticed my fridge humming and my coffee maker kicking in like nothing happened. Pros: • Starts faster than my car on a cold morning. • Powers my fridge, lights, WiFi router, and existential crisis lamp without breaking a sweat. • Quiet enough that my dog didn’t even flinch—he just kept sleeping like it wasn’t there. Cons: • So quiet, I kind of miss the growl. • My neighbor now borrows it so often I’m considering charging him rent. • I caught myself standing next to it just to feel like I was doing something important. Bottom line: If you want reliable backup power without waking the neighborhood—or your pets—this is it. Five stars. Feels like having a secret power plant in your garage.

We bought this unit three weeks ago and we are in the "Break-In" stage of the process. The unit has many monitoring features that allows you to observe the level at which the generator is operating. These features give you a comforting feeling that the generator is working at an optimal capacity.

I purchased this unit right after the March Ice Storm in Northern Michigan. The unit is bigger than the Honda 2000 my brother loaned me. I have used it a couple of times since then. Very quiet operation and longer runtime than the Honda. Very easy to setup and use. The unit performed very well in keeping my power stations charged for several days. Very pleased with the unit.

I was looking for a quiet generator with a remote start and did quite a bit of research. The Westinghouse generators seemed to always be in the top 5 of any search I performed. I decided to purchase it and so far I love it. I have only started it a few times and have not used it to power my trailer yet but it started easily and is very quiet. I did have a little bit of difficulty connecting the battery wires together and scraped my hand on the plastic but if you wear gloves it shouldn’t be a problem. Looking for ward to this weekend and trying it out.

Our daughter had purchase this model and every time it started and ran with no issues , powered all her loads as we camp off grid again with no issues , we have made the purchase of this model and can ‘t wait to enjoy problem free when starting and running our new Westinghouse i5000

Just picked up this 5000c generator to power the ac on a toy hauler. Doing initial run in and limiting the load for the first 5 hours as specified in the manual. Will know tomorrow how successful it is in running the ac. Fairly quiet and no issues yet.

Bought this in February with plans to use it with our 5th wheel. Size is nice and it powered up our appliciances and batteries. We haven't had a chance to test it with one on the A/Cs yet. If it works well to run at least 1 AC we will buy a 2nd one and the combiner cords.

Bought this last week, at 105lbs, it was larger than expected but starts super easy. Comes with a bottle of oil and a screw-in funnel so be sure to add oil before starting as it comes empty. Funnel worked really well. All in all, a pretty quiet unit with a ton of versatility. Small enough to fit in the back of a small SUV and I can lift it alone but recommend using a helper. It does have handles on the bottom as well as the top.

Just bought the generator. when unboxing at home, the battery cover was not in place and loose in the package. the battery hold down rubber was broken into two peices and the battery was half way out of the generator when i removed the generator from the plastic. currently contacting westinghouse to see about getting a battery hold down. Passed that, this generator is quiet, easy to start both on pull start and electric start. love the remote feature. family memeber has the same generator and it has 500 plus hours on it with no issues.

I resently used my son- in-laws Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I am elderly & was able to operate on my own. So I ordered myself a Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I love the remote, on & off button, pull handle & more. I could have got a bigger one but wanted one not too heavy to pull so I could be pretty independent! Thank you
