I bought this Gen to power my travel trailer when we can't connect to shore power. We love the convenience of the remote start feature. In the morning, we just hit the button and we have power for the microwave and the coffee maker. We max out the power output on the warm days with the a/c, w/h, 120v fridge, and microwave, (and of course the tv) running at the same time. It handles the load just fine. It lowers rpm's nicely as the load changes which is nice as the loudness diminishes as the load decreases. Still trying to figure out how to change the oil with ease and no mess. With the outer covering, it's hard to replace the oil without a mess. That aside, would recommend to anyone needing this much power to be off grid.

Good - Has all the good features (and more) of the Japanese competitors at 1/2 the price. Filled it up and it ran my 30' trailer's 15,000 btu A/C (at 50% load - 1.8 KW) on a 87 degree day and all night, 18 hours to ran out of gas. While the A/C was running turned on a 1500 watt heater, ran both fine for 5 mins, 3.3 KW total load. Bad - failed to start 1st time. Called support, talked to a American service person who directed me to a web page how to fix two electrical connectors that come loose. About a 1 hour job. I sure new ones will have it fixed.

I'm not trusting Texas power grid this year. Glad I decided to go with this larger size and put on a 30A back feed breaker. Powers entire house with all of the basics running; frig, gas furnace blower, lights, 75" TV/amp, computer, including a 1600W microwave that pushed temporary draw up 3200W. Eco mode drops RPM slightly and extends run time. Installed sliding interlock on electrical panel and moved breakers around a little. Plastic insulated shell keeps it relatively quiet. Runs at lower RPM versus smaller generators at higher more annoying RPM.

I bought this in a pinch for a weekend camping trip because my old one quit working and so far it's been great. It runs much longer on a tank of gas than my old one and is a little bigger. The display showing the time remaining is also a great feature.

Very quiet and worked well after I fixed the crank but no start condition due to a connector that had come off the auto choke controller during shipping. Minor repair but disappointing. There is a Westinghouse service bulletin on this issue. A 1 cent dab of RTV during factory assembly would eliminate this problem. Would have given it 5 STARS otherwise.

Love the product, only issue was the automatic choke was not hooked up upon assembly, so had to take three sides off, which seems to be a normal issue that is not being resolved based on issues posted. However, once you watch a couple of videos a 10 minute fix, then it works excellent, so far.

Minor box damage but unit itself in perfect condition. Would not start with electric start button, even after charging battery. We did mess with the automatic choke lever as talked about in a lot of reviews and then were able to get it started via the manual pull after a number of tries. Once it ran for about 10 minutes, we were able to turn it off and now have started it multiple times with the electric start with no problems-so it seems to be fine after the initial start up. It is very quiet, but we haven't actually used it yet to comment on it's full functioning. I'm looking forward the camping next weekend to see how it does!

I bought this to power many necessary appliances in case of a power outage. This thing is well beyond anything I had looked at, truly a class of its own. My version only has the RV 30a & an Edison 20a. I do wish it had an additional Edsion circuit, but getting a breakout is not big deal. The thing that is most impressive to me is how quiet it is. I had a phone conversation 4 feet from this thing & the person on the other end did not realize I had the generator running. I could hear every word. Amazing for a generator this size. I also really appreciate the full service manual with a break out of the engine, in case I need to service it. My model also came with a charger port for the battery that plugs into the generator, so it is always ready to go when the power does go out.

Received new generator with noticeable rust at fuel tank neck. Immediately contacted Westinghouse who ensured me this is normal. Ran generator to make sure every thing worked (using sta-bil added fuel). Tested generator 2 month later to make sure every thing worked fine before storm season but generator would not maintain power and kept turning off. Checked online and found service bulletin with instruction on manual fix by opening the cover and manually adjusting choke. So assumed this was known issue and dropped off at local service center. I am told the carburetor was gummed/dirty and this would not be covered under warranty. Called up Westinghouse and service rep politely read instructions: for "2 month storage the float bowl has to be emptied of fuel". Not having emptied the fuel from the float bowl broke the generator in 2 month. Hard to believe that if I had turned on the generator few days earlier, the generator would had work. The fact that there is a service bulletin that was created to temporary fix this exact problem actually exists suggests there is a model wide quality issue. Also Westinghouse claiming rusted fuel tank is normal also suggests this model is cheaply made. Can not recommend for first time generator users. I suspect the rust and carburetor issues are tied. Also, this generator requires lots of maintenance that must be followed accurately. Being 1 day late will break unit.

I bought this generator because it was quite, had a great price and was powerful enough to run my Air Conditioning in my camper trailer in addition to other electrical loads. It is also easy to move around, thanks to the wheels and extendable handle. It handles like a travel suitcase. This is my second generator purchase. The first is also going strong!
