I purchased this product due to one night at the race track when I helped a friend unload this model from his trailer at the track. He flipped a switch and you can barely hear it running, very very quiet. So I got home and the next day I was looking online to try and find a generator for myself and I found some that would work but I am one of those that I saw his, I heard his, so I wanted the same one so I texted him to ask what kind it was. He sent me some pics of his and I ordered the same day. I am very pleased with this product and recommend to anyone who is looking for some great power and very little noise at all.

I just finished breaking the generator in and doing the first oil change. It runs great and has excellent features. It’s quiet also. It’s a 5 star generator except for one issue on mine. Mine came without the generator choke cable being plugged in. There is a YouTube video about how to fix this if the choke stays on it requires removing about 30 screws/bolts to fix. Takes almost an hour. Glad I fixed it because I really like it. Fixing it is a better option than returning it if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. Glad I bought it.

I would rate this unit higher if it had a built in hour meter for run time and if t was capable of powering a 220 volt appliance. I was under the impression that it had the hour meter but perhaps I thought so from looking at another comparable unit. Despite the conditions listed it is an excellent unit that is straight forward to get going in an emergency which is the primary use. Plenty of power for running an electric chainsaw and for me light enough for the label of portable.

Extremely happy with this generator. It is super quiet, simple to use and does the job. I used it during a power outage at home and it powered my essential appliances and much more. Would definitely recommend to a friend. The remote start is also a nice feature.

Great generator as long as it starts! Once you get the unit running, it works great and powers an rv with no issue. Runs quite and the remote start/stop is a nice feature. Waiting for a response from Westinghouse on what to do about the starting issue.

These units are amazing and rank in second place in comparison to all other generators this size. It starts on the first try. Gives us all the power we need! It is so good that we have purchased 4 of them! Did I tell you they are so quiet running? Well, they are the most quiet generators that I have used.

Just purchased it have not use it much. I am comparing it to champion 4000 inverter generator. Which I liked a lot. Purchased this one because of good reviews. This has more features very easy to use and is even more quite. I have already recommend it to my brother.

The iGen4500 is a very nice quiet generator. It is very easy to use with push button start as well as remote start. Setup and initial startup was very straight forward. Looking forward to lots of camping trips with this generator in tow! Compared with Honda and Predator Generators and went with the Westinghouse for value and reliability.

Recently purchased this unit. Upon initial start I had to manually choke the generator. I was aware there had been some trouble with the auto choke on these units. I did find the connecter on the auto choke was not plugged into the module. When that was fixed the generator has started and run flawlessly. It’s pretty quiet and runs everything need on my fifth wheel.

I bought this a couple months ago and have used it a few times. Runs good. Came without a plug inside the engine unplugged somehow. After nearly returning it I searched the internet and found it's a common problem - took about 20 screws out, found the unplugged choke cable, reassembled and it works good now.
