Bought this about a week ago only ran it about 10 minutes plan on using it in the summer for my camper and if the power goes out for freezers

We bought this for our camper.   It worked wonderfully and our favorite feature is the remote control!

Great features

Was able to see it in operation while at my cousin cabin.  Liked the features it had and the remote start was a great feature

I have been looking and it had everything I was looking for. I like the Electric start and the push button to start for inside the trailer.

Great Generator

Package and handling may have caused the electric choke wire be disconnected! The unit would not start!

Bought this for our TT and it works perfectly. Runs A/C and equipment and is quiet. Have recommended this to many of my frinds!

Recommended for any RV/TT Owner

Not good for pulling the recoil handle, won't start it up. I've tried a few times but unfortunately.

Came with everything to get it up and running. Love the remote start, just need to test it under a load now.

I bought this generator a month ago and I am amazed by the run time and noise level. It also does everything I need from a generator. Perfect.

Remarkable Generator!

I bought this for my rv. it is a perfect size. i love the digital display and the fob.  runs great and it's really quiet!  so far, so good!

great features!

I bought this unit a few months ago, did a proper break in, and had it charging ready for when it was needed. When it was needed it would not stay running, it would rev up and quit. I submitted warranty claim and it has been sitting in a shop for 3 weeks. I needed it for camp in 2 weeks, now I am looking to either buy another inverter or cancel a family trip. Not a great start.

Disappointed

I purchased the iGen 4500 for camping and the ocassional home power outage. I'm impressed with how quiet it runs compared to my old generator and the retractable handle, which helps to move it around.

Depending on where you live or camp, you'll need to contact Westinghouse to purchase the high altitude kit. If you live or camp at an elevation of 2000 ft and lower, you don't need to swap out the jet. But at any elevation higher than 2000 ft, you will need the high altitude kit for proper fuel-air mixture. 

Westing house responded to my email in just hours, and I was able to order and receive the kit within a few days. Westinghouse has a simple tutorial video on their sight with step-by-step instructions on how to swap out the carburetor jet that corresponds to your altitude. My auto mechanic told me he swaps them out frequently for many different brands, but it's not difficult to do it yourself to save money. He was right, I watched the video and swapped it out myself. 

A quick note if you swap jet out yourself, I placed the hardware in plastic sandwich bags then labeld each step. It made it easier when reassembling.

I've been pleased with my purchase. It's a nice little generator.
