Generator is well built and appears to be sturdy enough for intended RV use. Directions for use are simple and should allow for easy operation. Looking forward to using it on trips where normal RV hook-ups are not available. It appears it will be able to power all of our necessary devices without any strain on it or us.

This generator is super quiet. I was not expecting a 4500 to be as quiet as my previous 2000 from another manufacturer but it is. Remote start and push button start are great features as well. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase again!

bought the iGen 4500 to power our Cougar 22 MLS. Runs the 15,000 BTU air unit and everything else. Before i made the purchase i had seen the You Tube videos showing the problems with this unit. We did not experience any issues! Took 25 minutes to set the unit up with oil , gas and battery. Started up on first try. looking forward to using it to visit all the national parks. Well worth the money!

Easy start, very quiet. Like that it has a remote. Product arrived on time and undamaged. When you connect battery was hard to get hand in, would be nice to have a little longer wires. Funnel makes it easy to add oil but it’s hard to see when it is full. It was hard to put oil cap back on wanted to cross thread.

After reading some reviews apparently mine was finished on a Wednesday I have had no issues started up first time with a remote ,push button ,and pull start. I had a friend that had the same one absolutely loves it .That’s why I purchase this one ,so far so good very happy with its performance at our off grid property in the wood.It’s super quiet and ran it Friday,Saturday,& Sunday at the camp and burned 6.5 Gallons 2 campers just necessities no A/C unit this weekend was cool ,but I did run the air just to test it’s operation and it handled it no problem.Digital information is awesome and gives instant feedback once a load changes, Fuel economy, run hours at that load.

We purchased this item this month,. We had bought another one and had to return it after only 21 hours of run time. We are hoping to have better luck with this one as far as anything else we would leave a review when we have had a chance to use it awhile in hopes that we don't have any problems.

I bought this generator as a product referred by a friend. We go to dirtbike races and everyone "circles the wagons" with their campers. Proud to say I'm not the loudest generator running now. It is quiet for sleeping in the RV as well as powerful enough to run the ac and microwave with no issues.

Generator arrived in great shape. No problem with set up. Battery was charged. The generator was tested at the factory so there is residual oil in the unit. The supplied oil will over fill the unit. Quick set up should point that out better. I wish a free bonus generator cover offer that comes in the manual packet would have been mentioned before I ordered one. Runs very quiet. I like the features but the manual totally contradicts the remote start purpose. Manual says to not have anything plugged in or powered prior to start and unplug before shut down. Seems like an issue for RV operation. I asked customer service and was told its a backup to the electric start button on the unit. Back up to me is the pull start. Also the master switch has to be on for the remote start to work. Not sure how long the battery will last with the switch on. To be fair I have read that other competitors say the same thing. I will have to talk to my RV tech and get their input. Why have remote start if I have to walk outside to the generator anyway. I will post again after more experience with the unit. Customer service has been easy to reach and friendly. All in all I still feel like it was a great choice.

We purchased this generator expecting it to have some similarities to the top of the line Honda but be less expensive and be “Almost as good” as the Honda, but we were shocked to find that it is every bit as well made and even at full power it is extremely quiet !

After researching inverters for some time as a quieter option as compared to our standard generator, we finally settled on the IGen4500 for three main reasons. First, it is significantly quieter than a standard generator, to the point that you can easily have a conversation standing next to it. Since its an inverter, that is to be expected, but going from a standard generator to this inverter, it was a surprise how much difference it made. Second, the lower weight as compared to a standard generator is a plus. While 100 pounds is still heavy, compared to our other 5500W generator, its much easier to maneuver while still providing ample power. Third, the iGen4500 has great features. The electric start and remote start work great, and the telescoping handle and wheels make moving it easy. The fuel estimation gauge is a great plus as well, making managing your fuel reserves easier. We've yet to utilize the eco-mode, but expect to use this feature this hurricane season. We purchased the iGen4500 primarily for backup power for home outages (refrigerator, deep freeze, fans, recharging small electronics etc.). To that end, the USB ports and two 20 AMP outlets serve that purpose well. To add to its versatility, we also purchased a TT-30P to 5-15R extension cord for additional household power needs. Only downside so far was that the blue plastic outer housing was cracked upon arrival, but its not significant enough to go through the return and exchange process as it shouldn't affect its functionality.
