I like this generator because it’s quiet and it has a remote start /what I did not like is it failed on me in less than one year and I kind of had a little hassle getting it covered under the warranty -they did end up sending a complete replacement as the original unit was deemed unrepairable by the repair shop

Received my new iGen4500 in perfect condition in a short amount of time. Came with great start up instructions and operating overview. I have many friends that have the same inverter and they have nothing but good things to say about it. Can't wait to hook it up to my RV!

I am re-registering my igen4500.. When I initially registered it, I had not used it and could not give a review, but, now I can. I purchased this product to run my 40' fifth/wheel and it did the job. While it can't run both the 15,000 btu a/c's at the same time, it powered one while keeping everything else running including the fridge, lights, microwave,water etc. I bought the 4500 because of that capability. Those 2200/watt generators can't do that. Used it a solid month and ran it from 2-3 hours straight to 6-7 hours at a time, every day. The front information panel tells me everything. The amount of run time left, power output, fuel level, voltage and total run time. The a/c//microwave kicking on brings the noise level up a bit, but, when those are off it's very quiet. It got a little wet and muddy from some storms we went through, but it kept running and functioning without any problems. I have started it all 3 ways and it starts right up every time. I will mention your customer service because they were great. You can look up my my interaction with them. They were instrumental in my purchase and keeping this inv/gen. Taking it out for a month again in September. So far so good!

Bought this for our RV and a backup for the home power in case it goes out. Seems pretty quiet and easy to use. The oil is a bit hard to fill but it came with a funnel. I'm sure I'll misplace it though when it comes time to add oil again. Overall happy with the purchase.

Bought this generator about a month ago because our electricity goes out so often. Today, I got to use it. I was very happy with how easy it is to start and how quiet it is. It worked great and saved my canning session! I also got a paper saying I qualified for a bonus free cover, but the website it says to go to doesn't seem to have the offer. Sure would love to have the storage cover.

I just purchased this Generator and opened the box. I filled with oil and gas and read all the instructions. The first time starting the generator, I noticed fuel leaking from the bottom. I opened the side panel and noticed fuel leaking from the carburetor fuel bowl. I checked the bolt and it was tight. I took the bold holding the fuel bowl off and saw that the gasket was pinched and not inserted correctly. I flattened out the gasket and put the fuel bowl back on. I started the generator and let it run for 5 minutes with no leaks. I'm glad I was not out in the field using it for the first time when this happened. So far the Generator is quieter than I expected and runs smoothly. I will have a better opinion after running the unit for a while.

Bought October 2020. I have used it only 5 times so far and it has run great and starts easy. Good on gas, like the remote start. Suppose to get down to 10 degrees in Houston Tx. this week and they are talking about rolling blackouts being possible. If it happens I know the IGEN4500 will be ready for the task.

Ample power, well presented and very convenient features. My application is residential emergency power with slightly over 2 KVA required so the iGen4500 was my choice to have some reserve capacity, the 30A connector and correct user interface. One connector to my distribution system and done.

I bought this generator yesterday and found the break-in procedure easy to follow and execute. The generator performed great in its 1st 5 hours of break-in loads and use. Love the features especially the ease of mobility. Looking forward to many years of good operation.

I would rate this unit higher if it had a built in hour meter for run time and if t was capable of powering a 220 volt appliance. I was under the impression that it had the hour meter but perhaps I thought so from looking at another comparable unit. Despite the conditions listed it is an excellent unit that is straight forward to get going in an emergency which is the primary use. Plenty of power for running an electric chainsaw and for me light enough for the label of portable.
