Just fired it up. It's quiet, remote start, good power rating. It can run my AC in my RV which is what I was after. In my research it seemed to be the best bang for your buck in this class of generators. I would have liked it to be duel fuel for camping as I will always have propane tanks with me. I guess I will have to carry a gas can as well.

I purchased the iGen4500 to power my 5th Wheel when power is not available at a National or State Park. It is exactly what I was looking for as it: is quiet; RV ready with the 30 Amp outlet; features an LED display with remaining fuel, load/output, volts and remaining runtime,

This unit is a warranty replacement for one I bought in July 2021. Out of the box, the autochoke did not work. fortunately I found a video on YT that showed me how to fix it in about 10 minutes. Unit ran well and met my power needs for my 5th wheel trailer. Unfortunately, the inverter failed after about 125 hours. Warranty service is a hassle. WH's tech support line is not supportive. Finally took my unit to an Authorized Service Center and it took them several weeks to get a replacement authorized. After that WH shipped the replacement in a few days. Unfortunately the autochoke doesn't work on the replacement and the YT video doesn't seem to apply. Back to the tech support grind!

I did my research and found this Westinghouse iGen 4500 was the top rated portable generator I am in shock at the quality of this product. Fill with fuel and oil and just push a button and it fired right up. So quiet! They thought of everything when it comes to connections. It doesn't get any easier or more convenient than this.

Bought this iGen4500 for backup power at home during outages. Very easy setup and a nice, compact size. Easy to move with the wheels and handle. Always starts easily with the punch of a button, and the remote is a nice feature. Will not power the whole house, but plenty of power to keep the essentials running during an outage. Very happy to have made this purchase.

Just bought this model as an upgrade from a previous Inverter Generator I've had for the past 5 years. I was attracted to this model due to the high ratings, electric start, remote start, low decibel level when operating, and higher running watts. The unit was packed well for shipment. Initial set up was easy, following the instructions provided. Simply connect the battery, fill with oil (provided), and fill with gas. After doing so, I pressed the start button once and it instantly started. I tried the remote control start and it worked perfectly as well. Looking forward to putting it to the test this spring and summer.

Wouldn't run after all initial start up steps were completed. After some YouTube investigation, found that the electronic choke connection separates often during shipping. It was disconnected and a ground cable wasn't connected and there was a loose bolt just hanging out in the bottom of the case and the battery was tipped on its side. Someone shouldn't have to mess with a brand new generator for 4 hours to get it running. It's running now but not smooth and it's not that quiet.

Delivery was fast and careful!! Crated for safe shipping! Includes everything one needs to fire it up (except the gasoline, of course). Clear and straightforward instructions - we are currently having our electrician install our transfer switch. Easy to move around, easy to read controls. Push button start is totally great!! We've had a few outages so far this year, and we are now ready for the next one!!

I bought this generator about a month ago for my RV (toy hauler) and it’s able to run all the appliances w/o any problems. It does exactly what I want it to do. After filling it to proper level w/ oil - it started right up. Like it’s eager to get going on another adventure of camping & playing.

Received before expected date. Easy set up out of box. Had none of the problems that I have read about. Have only ran it a couple hours but ran refer off 120v turned on A/C and ran 900 watt micro wave and generator preformed flawlessly. Extremely happy at this time.
