After looking through tons of reviews and hours of YouTube videos I decided to go with the igen4500. Compared to other similar manufacturers, the westinghouse has awesome features, and quieter/longer runtime. I made the purchase primarily for my camper but I can definitely see it being used for more applications in the future.

I purchased the iGen4500 on June 1st 2021 for the upcoming hurricane season. I have two neighbors that always provide electricity through extension cords but I had concerns about the "cleanness of the power coming through. I was attracted by the iGen 4500 long running time, quietness and impotantly, the clean power provided by the inverter

Got my iGen5000 a month ago and I've put 15 hours on it so far. Works just as advertised, and I love the key fob start/stop. Only problem is the fuel gauge consistently reads about 40% the actual amount of fuel. Other gauges in the data readout that use the fuel gauge also affected.

I was in the market for a new generator ASAP. After searching the web, I came across Westinghouse. I've never owned one of their products previously, but everything about this generator was intriguing. From the wattage, RV plug, USB's, push start, pull start, remote start, battery charger, run time, digital output gauges even for the fuel level, hidden handle for toting it around, and most of all the price. For all the functionalities this thing has, nothing else compares for the cost. I received my generator in less than 2 full days, followed the easy step by step instructions, and started it right up, it's pretty easy. First add oil, second add gas, third plug in the battery, lastly push the start button. Couldn't be easier. Once it was running, my wife and I had a normal conversation standing right next to it. We are both shocked with how quiet this thing is, even when it's not running on ECO mode. As an electrician I know Westinghouse has in the electrical industry for years. So why not trust them when it comes to a generator.

Everything arrived promptly in great shape. It was up and running in minutes. The generator is super quiet and supplies full 30 amp continuous power to our camper. The electric and remote start makes it super convenient. Thank you for designing it with the 30 AMP RV plug instead of a standard generator plug - no adapters needed! The pull out handle and the top handles make is easy to maneuver and secure when needed. The digital display showing remaining fuel, run time, and power draw is fantastic.

Our iGen4500 generator arrived today and we began breaking it in by carefully following the provided instructions, which were simple and easy to follow. The generator started easily and ran well. The features on this generator are great. We especially like the remote start and stop capability and the data provided via the digital display. The capability of this generator, e.g. the power output and the runtime, is exceptional. This is a great value. No buyer's remorse here. We look forward to using it on new adventures with our RV (travel trailer). We also appreciate the new peace of mind in being able to keep critical appliances running during a home power outage.

Got this at the end of the WuHon virus nonsense and it's been working great. I got a model dated 2019 and looks like all complaints have been addressed like the 30amp socket is facing the correct way, no issues with choke, the data display looks like it's a bit different than I've seen in other reviews. The display I have you have to manually switch between the different readouts, butnin other videos it looks like the data readout just cycles through them automatically. This is not a big deal to me. Frankly I'll probably just keep it on fuel remaining hours for the most part.

I bought this generator last month. I love it so far! It runs my camper, one air conditioner 13500 BTU with no issues. I like all the readouts it has. Compact and easy to move at just over a hundred pounds with gas. I did have to take the case off and reattach a connector the came loose in shipping that controls the cold start/choke. Break in requires two oil changes I would recommend doing. I went with synthetic oil. 10w 30.

I did extensive research on several similar sized units. I wanted one that was quiet. The display, the size and weight of the unit, the remote control, the battery start, and the gas consumption efficiency all played into my decision. The review said there was a common problem with the choke, but I figured I could deal with that. I wish it came with a tender that you could keep plugged in, but the customer service rep said to use it for a max of 8 hrs. The battery is just like a motorcycle battery so I will buy a tender for it. It makes no sense to have to plug the unit in just before you need it in an emergency. I have only run it a couple minutes, but I'm hoping the reliability is good.

I am happy with the power output of the unit and how incredibly quiet it is. However, the push button and remote start work very sporadically. Would be 5 stars if that worked as advertised, but other than that the pull start is very easy and generally starts within 1-2 pulls.
