Thank you for your review and for including a photo. The pictured part BKV lid support is designed to be installed perpendicular to the interior lid surface. When positioned properly, the holes in the part line up with molded divots in the lid rim and screws BKW can be installed, fixing the lid support to the lid. The lid is made of high-density polyethylene and pre-drilled holes are not necessary. The part BKW can be screwed directly through the plastic and will be secure with the lid support.
