If you ever had Tiramisu at Olive Garden this isn't anything like that. Olive Garden's is a little more dense and solid feeling but still creamy. This is more like eating whipped cream. In most Tiramisu recipes whipped cream is an optional ingredient. Normally the mascarpone is mixed into whipped egg whites to give it it's fluffiness. Adding in whipped cream just gives it more volume and feels like eating flavorful air... The ingredients are Mascarpone (Pasteurized Cream, Citric Acid), which is whipped. Plus Pasteurized Cream, Pasteurized Eggs, Cane Sugar which is also whipped (whipped cream). Normally wouldn't need to add this Pasteurized (whipped) cream and just whip the eggs and sugar with the mascarpone. It would still be creamy but a little more dense and not like eating a spoonful of air. But likely with it being made this way it uses less mascarpone and the extremely whipped product likely would make two cakes instead of one. It does taste good, at least there is that, but it does lack the texture of really good Tiramisu. The filling tends to run instead of being firm. Think of a cheese cake that holds it's shape on a fork... firm but soft, but instead is made with whip cream that runs and melts and drips off a fork.
