The taste is fine, but they get stuck in the toaster every time. I believe they got a lot thinner over the years. As they heat, they bend between the elements, resulting in a burning, crumbly mess. Have tried in two different model toasters with the same results. Will not be purchasing again.

I've been eating the unfrosted strawberry Pop-Tarts for a long time and mainly I like those better than the Frosted ones because I don't need all that extra sugar. The most recent box had a curious feature. The filling only went down about 1/2 inch from the end of the Pop-Tart. So the last half inch was just crust. Normally the filling goes almost to the edges all around.

I hadn't had one of these in years and was looking forward to it. Upon opening the box, I could see that one package was different from the others. It actually contained one and a half Pop-Tarts instead of two. Seriously. They tasted a bit stale too.

Even at my age, which is in the area of the "50's" something, I still love my Pop Tarts just w/out the frosting these day's every calorie counts hahaha!! They're even more delicious now than when I was a kid, I eat them straight out of the box, not toasted or heated in any way & they're just so good!

I enjoy eating the unfrosted Pop-Tarts, but they were difficult to find at my neighbor grocer's. When I saw this box, I grabbed it up. To me there is nothing tastier than a nice toasted, unfrosted Pop-Tart right from the toaster with the edges toasted just right, chased with an ice cold glass of milk for an evening snack.

It's been years since I have had these favorites of mine, so I bought some two days ago upon getting home I opened a package up. I was disappointed when I bit into it, the crust was bland and crumbly it has the flavor of what I can only imagine cardboard would taste like. The filling was / is more disappointing than the crust is, I couldn't taste anything that resembled strawberries, for that fact I couldn't even tell there was even a filling inside this pathetic piece of cardboard tasting crust. I ate both of the Pop tarts hoping that the strawberry filling might have been uneven inside this catastrophic failure of a pastry. Without a doubt strawberry Pop tarts are as bad as spoiled milk is. I will never buy anything from this company again nor allow anyone to bring these failures of a so called food item in my house ever again. I can only imagine how bad the frosted pop tarts are. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THESE FOR CONSUMPTION TO ANY LIVING CREATURE AT ANYTIME.
