I was surprised because, usually, supplements are unnecessary if you "eat right" and take reasonably good care of yourself However, for my personal situation - on a statin and a history of heart disease, it appears CoQ10 can provide long-term benefit by boosting my CoQ10 levels back to a normal level. The only reason for one star off the rating is that I first need to wait six months to see what my blood work numbers are, and whether CoQ10 contributed to improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It can't be the way I eat, or exercise. The reason I have no placque is because I take Qunol and Krill oil, and have for years. I think I started taking CoQ10 way back in 2005, and Fish oil too. Then a few years later I heard about Ubiquinol, and Krill oil. So I hunted and found them in a vitamin store. I suppose it has been about 8 years that I have been taking Qunol and Krill oil. In the last 8 years I have had two stress tests with imaging of my heart, and two heart caths. I have no placque. I am clear every where. And Like I said it isn't my diet or life style that is the reason. It is because Every Day I take Qunol and Krill oil.

I have a bad heart with 14 stents, a double bypass and a quadruple bypass, yet my infraction rate is back up to 45% from 33% a few years ago. I'm not saying Qunol is a miracle drug but I bought another 8 month supply immediately.
