I bought this because I was tired of edging with a string trimmer. I didn't want to buy a gas edger, because I didn't want another gas motor to take care of. I am very pleasantly surprised at how great this thing works for electric. Love my purchase and would buy it again.

After beginning to use it l realized how efficient and effective it was l saw this weed eater was the best. I got this one last week after Troybilt gas edger wouldn't start. Tired of messing with the engine. It worked better than the gas one. I edged in half the time. I live on a corner lot so there is a lot of sidewalk to do. Cord can be a pain but so is an engine that doesn't start. Pro's: was edging 5 mins after I pulled it out of box Quiet, listened to radio playing in garage while using it. Removing Blade doesn't require special wrenches Con's: it would be nice if the handle would break down easier for storage

Now I am stuck with one that doesent work right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Will to start I’ve been a fan of Worx products for the past 10 years Trimmers chain pole saws wheel barrel drills and now the edger for a corded tool it preformed great at 75 feet does what a gas one does perfect edge haven’t used it as a trencher yet though I tried it in a spot out of the way and it made a nice small trench . I would recamend this to home owners and make sure you have enough extension cords

I recently bought this to do trenching around the mulched flower beds and islands. I have only used it twice so far and It works great. It takes 50% less time than doing it by shovel alone. I just run this machine then follow-up with a shovel to create a nice boarder around the mulched islands in my lawn. The only problem I can see is that it will throw stone forward. I have a lamp pole island in the lawn that is covered in stones not mulch. This machine will tend to throw the rocks. It is not good idea to use this with loose gravel because it can end up damaging property. Other than that, It works well so far.

I finally broke down and bought my Worx trimmer! I love the trimmer and after about 6 months i'm pretty much a believer. The $ for the refill spools does give my wife fuel for the "they aren't really free " argument. she send things heavier for less money all the time. if it gets too heated i will restring spools myself but the trimmer is a winner in my book. i would consider other Worx tools!

I was using this brand new edger for the first time, and the blade fell off. Now, I can’t find the retaining nut, because it’s in the tall grass somewhere!!!! This piece of garbage used to be a good edger. Now, the manufacturer got so lazy they can’t even tighten the nut right!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a month ago and I really like it. I trimmed my driveway and boulevard and it went well although my grass was a little long and the guard got caught in the grass. It held up well though. So far I'm well pleased.

This edger replaces a gas powered edger, which I was never sure if it would start. The only item I wish it had was a drop down wheel to facilitate edging along the curb.
