With the original order of this product, the base where the lever and edge guide join sheared off when testing the unit with the guide down. Contacted the company and they immediately sent out a replacement. The replacement works great. The unit has a lot of power and cuts great. It has been used as trencher and an edger with no problems. Great product!

I am really disappointed to find out that this needs a cord rather than the twelve amp battery that I have for all my other Worx tools. Even coming back to read it now, it doesn't mention a cord. Also every picture you see, and the drawings that are in the box, is a person using the machine WITHOUT A CORD. The whole purpose of Worx tools is that I can use them in my large yard because a cord won't drag around my big yard with all the trees in it. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I really believe the fact that it does not state CODE NEEDED in its advertising is extremely deceptive.

I bought my trimmer last year. I have a big yard and it is up for the task. I have a bad back and it allows me to do a great job on the whole yard. It is powerful and a joy to use. The auto feed trimmer line works great and the line lasts a long time. I was so impressed with this product I bought a blower and hedge trimmer as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello. I own the Worx 12 amp electric trimmer as well as the Worx blower. They have both lasted a long time, with very little maintenance. I am a senior citizen and do all yardwork myself so I need equipment that is easy upkeep and easy to start. I like that no gas or oil is needed, all you have to do is insert the battery and push a button. The trimmer is perfect for my needs and I would recommend this trimmer to anyone.

I purchased a WORX 12 Amp 2-in-2 Lawn Edger/Trencher. After using it once on my yard I started to clean the unit when I noticed a lose screw in the interior of the device behind where the blade attaches to the motor. Not only was this screw about to fall out of the edger, but two other screws doing the same job were missing. The device did the job, the blade bent easily after contact with the sidewalk concrete, but that is expected since you really can't see the edge all the time. I did purchase the extended warranty, but I doubt that missing screws will qualify for any assistance. Time will tell. Buy better quality and you won't be sorry.

The depth adjustment/edge guide is pretty flimsy and of little use. Mine broke and I cannot remove it because the bracket is between the blade shroud and the motor assembly, and cannot be reached with a wrench. I may have to hacksaw it off as it hangs down and interferes with edgeing.

I LOVE this tool and wish I'd found it earlier. I'm a 54yo woman and using it was a breeze. I've used it to restore curved landscaped beds throughout my yard and it cut my work by 75% from the old fashioned manual way. Lithium battery operated would have been nice but I wasn't going to pay that price. The price of this is just right and it did an amazing job.
