I received this Edger as a work anniversary gift. The tool works well as designed - except the blade will become loose during use. I've used the tool twice and the blade came loose multiples times during each use. Had to stop and tightened the tool - only to have it become loose again after about 30 yards of use. This tool would be 4-5 stars if there is a way not to have to constantly stop and re-tighten the blade

I have had my worx trimmer for over 15 years and it has never failed me. I have 3 yards to trim and mow and I always have my worx tools with me. They are lightweight, durable, and easy to use and maintain. My trimmer still trims like it did the first time that I used it, and I have never had to replace it. I have bought a new battery for it, but I intend to get many more years out of it! I have bought this product for my friends and sons and have recommended my trimmer to several others. The worx products are wonderful and they do everything they claim to do.

I've used this edger 5 times to edge my residence lawn between the grass (Bermuda) edge and curb. From the very first use, I had to reverse directions (push forward, pull backwards) for every length of cut in order to get a clean cut. With each use, the cut has been less clean. At this point, I will stop using the tool since it's not very effective and takes too long to do the job. Rather, I've gone back to using my gas trimmer. I suppose this could be "user error", but I don't think so.

I was tired of buying gas trimmers and edgers almost every year. So I went green and purchased the Worx trimmer. It cut my time in more then half saved back breaking time in lugging that gas equipment around. I’m a customer for ever.

I do all of the trimming now so there is no more fighting with the hubby to trim!!!! I tell everyone about my trimmer!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a month ago and I really like it. I trimmed my driveway and boulevard and it went well although my grass was a little long and the guard got caught in the grass. It held up well though. So far I'm well pleased.

Decent quality. Works well. It is not as good as the old Briggs and Stratton gas powered trimmers, but given the good price and I only intend to use it once per month, this is a good machine. I was able to cut through some serious overgrowth without a problem. I have used it twice. Tip: tighten up the blade bolt before it's first use.

I had to start from scratch last year, restoring my lawn from major damage due to backhoes and tri-axle trucks needed to dig a french drain around my house. Finally have the manicured lawn I've always wanted. WORX edger was the last touch that put a nice straight, crisp edge on my lawn.

With the original order of this product, the base where the lever and edge guide join sheared off when testing the unit with the guide down. Contacted the company and they immediately sent out a replacement. The replacement works great. The unit has a lot of power and cuts great. It has been used as trencher and an edger with no problems. Great product!

Honestly I've been a customer for 10+ years. Every product I've ever bought has used the same size battery. To pull these edger out of the box and find out it's a plug in ?? I'm sure I can trust worx again. Even the picture on the box it comes in the plug-in is blurred out.
