So I purchased this and finally got to use it on Sunday. All in all its a pretty good unit. It's a little under powered but at this price I'm not complaining. There are 5 things that I have to say detract from this edger. First - The instructions could be better. They're not bad but in a couple of cases were not clear. Second - The blade was not tight when I received the unit. I should have checked it but didn't so shame on me. Third - The instructions for tightening the blade are basically a pictogram showing two open end wrenches to tighten the blade......Well that doesn't work. An open end wrench to hold the blade clamp and a socket and ratchet to tighten the fastener works much easier. Fourth - If this is supposed to come with tools to tighten the blade then mine were missing..... well mine didn't have any tools in the box. I don't want for tools so this isn't a big deal for me but, I can see other people being frustrated by this. The above items were all pretty minor. The only semi major problem is the blade guard....I wonder if their design guys have ever used and edger. And when I say if they've ever used and edger, I mean on all types of lawns.. My lawn is higher than the concrete and when trying to edge, the rear of the blade guard would catch the lawn and drag causing issues.... I found a work around for this but the design guys should have caught this during testing......shame on them....I really expected better considering how much thought was put into their saw horses and work stations... I really feel like the rating should be 3.5 stars. Pro's - Great Value, Easy to Use- Con's - Blade guard, no tools to tighten the blade... For the Worx design team....please get in touch with me to iron out the negatives...with a little work this could easily be 5 stars..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Worx edger is surprisingly light weight, powerful and it edges amazing well. I was surprised to see how easy the edger was able to edge my lawn without having a loud motor. The blade was sharp and it worked very well even when my lawn was not completely dry from the rain two days ago. The handle and power button is positioned nicely as the unit fits comfortably in your hand. I would definitely recommend this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my WORX Edger/Trimmer in August 2913 and I believe it is the best lawn Edger ever invented! First it is very light so even my slim wife can edge while I mow. Second, the design allows us to switch to trimming in less than 15 seconds! So one tool doing 2 Jobs saves a lot of time. Third, the Edger produces a very clean cut with much less dirt being touched which means I can edge when grass is wet without producing a lot of muddy dirt which then has to be hosed off the sidewalk, agin saving a lot of time. I'm so glad that I was introduced to the Worx family of tools. They have made so many of the yard chores a pleasure instead of a burden. I would put Worx tools up against any on the market today. The edger is so easy too use and makes your drive and sidewalks look like a magazine photo!

My husband has bad eyes and can't do the weed eating but he does mow the lawn with a push mower (small lawn) but when he does he just pushes the grass edge over making it look like there is more grass than there actually is. Now the lawn looks 6 inches longer and he is standing in my garden on my plants because again he has bad eye sight! I can't use a weed eater due to my back so I thought I would try this baby, OMG I love it!!! My lawn looks like it was professionally trimmed and you can see exactly where the lawn ends and the garden begins!!! Thank you thank you thank you for making such a great tool!!! I will tell everyone I know to buy this tool!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so delighted with my little WORX Edger. In the past I used my husband’s gas-powered edger, but when he passed on I decided to find something that would suit me better. Ladies, if you’re in your 70s, and trying to get away from gas fumes or having to buy gas, this is the edger for you! It took me a bit to figure out the depth I wanted it to cut, but once I did I haven’t had to change the setting, although it’s super easy to do so. As long as you cut close to the edge, everything that you want trimmed will be trimmed well. It doesn’t matter how tough the grass is, it “worx” great. One of my lawns is St Augustine, and this little machine has no trouble at all chopping through those long fat tentacles. I say little machine because I love the fact that it is so lightweight. Also, once I got used to the electrical cord, although I remain cautious, it’s easy to maneuver with it. It takes curves easily . . . Well I could go on and on . . . But anyway, it’s GREAT!
