Great product for my needs.

This is my first experience with a generator. There was minimal assembly needed and instructions on set and running were very easy to follow. It started right up on my first attempt which was awesome! Overall this model is a good value and will serve my back up power needs during power outages. I looked a lot of different brands and models and glad I went with this one

Very nice unit!

I just purchased in November 2024, I have not used it yet as intended. I will hook it up to a 50amp wall plug installed by an electrician once it is done. It has some great features, I love the build quality and the option to use propane. This is my first generator with a battery start, I will enjoy that feature as I am not as young as I used to be. This should be plenty of power for my needs.

Powered Two 4-ton Home AC Units

I purchased this item for my house hoping it could power two 4-ton AC units off of natural gas. After installing a soft starter on both my AC units, I was happy to see it ran them both at the same time without any issues! I also appreciate the remote control start and the ease at which it powers up. Much better than the old generators I'm used to. I highly recommend this product!

Perfect For My Home

This generator is both the right size and function for my generator shed located back up power. The remote start was what caused me to buy it. The tri fuel function means I can adapt to propane if I need to. Also, the 50 AMP socket is large enough to run my entire home, and teh surge power means I don't need to be concerned with things starting at once, drawing more amps.

Three options of fuel

Just bought this generator I'm happy to have different options of fuel, during power outages is hard to find gasoline because fuel stations don't have power , but with the option of natural gas you don't have to worry about where to get fuel. It just give you a peace of mind.

As expected! Started on 1st pull

Assembly was simple with clear directions. Everything needed to get started with any of the 3 fuel types was in the box. Started on 1st pull. Could not get the wireless key fob to pair despite following directions as written. If I could get that fob to work, I would gladly update this to a 5 star review. Contact me westinghouse and help me get this fob paired :)

BGreat design and feature

wish I had it for Hurricane Milton. I purchased based upon the reviews and Westinghouse reputation. when my electrician came to install the 50amp interlock, he said I couldn't have made a better choice. Unit started right up, took it through the break in cycle. I'm ready for the next power outage. very pleased, I especially like the covered outlets

Great Performance, but CO Sensor Issue

I recently purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500c portable generator, and overall, I've been quite impressed with its performance. It offers plenty of power with its 9500 running watts and 12500 starting watts, which is more than enough to keep essential appliances running during a power outage. The build quality is solid, and the unit starts up reliably, even in colder weather. I also appreciate the user-friendly features, like the electric start and the clear, easy-to-read display panel. However, I've encountered an issue with the carbon monoxide (CO) sensor, which has been a bit frustrating. Early on, the CO sensor seemed to malfunction, triggering the generator to shut down unnecessarily. While I understand the importance of this safety feature, it's disappointing to experience this fault so early in the generator's life. As a result, I now need to send it in for service to address this problem. Despite the CO sensor issue, I'm still optimistic about the long-term performance of the WGen9500c. Westinghouse is known for good customer support, so I'm hopeful that this will be resolved quickly. If you're in the market for a powerful and versatile generator, I would still recommend the WGen9500c, but be mindful that this model may have some early teething issues with the CO sensor. Pros: Powerful output (9500 running watts) Easy to start and operate User-friendly display panel Good build quality Cons: CO sensor malfunction (requiring service early on) Hopefully, this is just a rare issue, and once it's fixed, I can enjoy the generator without further problems.

Nice generator.. Westinghouse 9500 C

This Westinghouse 9500 C generator is very nice. It came with a remote start and a plug-in battery tender Both work very well. This generator has the 30 amp twist lock plug but also has the 50 amp plug Which is a must-have if you're trying to run your whole house.. It runs strong and smooth.. Looking forward to years of dependable operation..

WGen9500TFc are working great so far

I love the generator bc its have optional features. So far i only use gas fuel and i use only high grade one but its have option for propane and natural gas too. Its comes with both propane and natural gas flexible line and its connect on same port but i wouldn't trust to much to natural gas line bc its to weak. I didn't use those yet but i purchase this generator bc every house need to have it for back up power. Climate change brings storm everywhere now . i love remote control and i followed installation and start up direction by manufacture , i crank it about 25 ft from house and surprisingly is not that laud as i was think it will be. i ran it first time last month and handle the my 3 refrigerator, 2 TV and lights in house and this is all by extension cords. I am planning to add it to my braker box by certified electrician so i do not have to run all those cords in house bc they trip hazard. I love to have this remote control and it is very convenience. So far is sit in my garage when i don't use it but when i do i have to take it outside when i need it. You should definitely buy it.
