Provides a lot of power with a few little luxuries like remote start and multiple outlets. Yes, it is loud but not nearly as loud as other generators we have had. It is heavy but that is to be expected. The wheels and handle allow for it to be easily moved around.

I currently have another smaller Westinghouse generator and am very happy with it, but have not had a need to use this generator yet. I have one strong suggestion for the manufacturer. The packaging is nothing more than a cardboard box. It does little to protect the generator. I was fortunate and had no damage, but I saw a number of reviews from people that weren't so lucky. I was an engineer in the automotive industry and packaged many different items for shipment. These generators should be bolted to a skid with a 2x4 frame for protection. It would save the manufacturer in warranty costs and customer dissatisfaction.

We bought this generator after being without power for 48 hours. It handily powered our refrigerator (720 watts), microwave (1100 watts), multiple lamps and battery charger. There is capacity to spare. The electric start is a super convenient and reliable. There is even a remote control fob so that you can start and start the generator from inside. This generator is extremely well made. As an electrical engineer, I am quite impressed with this Westinghouse 9500 generator. Be sure to follow the instructions to ground the generator since it is equipped with GFCI outlets.

This is a reliable piece of equipment. It's well made, and much thought was put into it. The remote engine start is an amazing feature. It's very user friendly so you don't have to be mechanically inclined to use it-unlike my last generator. Thanks also for the oil and oil funnel that came with it. EASY START,POWER AND ALMOST CANT WAIT FOR OUTAGE TO TRY IT.LOTS OF FEATURES. JUST ONE THING,THE QUICK CONNECTS FOR THE BATTERY WERE UNHOOKED.SHOULD BE PUT IN MANUAL TO HOOK THESE UP AS AT FIRST I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHY THE ELECTRIC START WOULD NOT WORK. LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Easy to assemble and prep for use. It took me less than 5 minutes to pull it out of the box and have it going. The assembly and before first use instructions were great. The fact that it comes with a simple maintenance sheet was helpful as well. Having never owned a generator before I wasn't sure how frequently I needed to change the oil and/or filter so that is helpful. We live in a high fire area so generator reliability is very important when the power is cut off. After buying the smaller (5300DFv) and loving it, I bought this larger one to power more appliances and our air conditioner. Highly recommended.

I purchased this unit recently after researching generators for several weeks and chose the 9500 as it best fits my needs. Easy to assemble, ran perfectly on first try and was quite easy for my electrician to hook up to the house electric panel. Have run the unit several times on trial basis and no issues. Purchased as a house backup and hope I don't have to use it often but am very confident it will run well in an emergency.

Ended up with this generator after a lot of research. It is large enough to back up the essentials of my home (including the air conditioning) and has 3 fuel options. Hopefully, we will not need it during storm season but it is nice to feel comfortable. It is heavy but easy to assemble and started on the first try with propane.

I bought this a month ago and I am so glad that I did. Just lived through the ravages of Hurricane Ida. Lost power about 10 hours after the wind started picking up and immediately cranked up the 9500 with the starter button. The set-up had been easy - they even included a quart of the proper oil, as well as a funnel to fill it up. Ran every thing I wanted with power to spare for 15 hours without a gas refill. Made the whole event livable. Only wished I had put aside more gas - the lines at the gas station were a pain and I could have poured any I did not use into my truck.

Arrived at time stated. Well packaged. Very easy to install the wheels. They thought of everything. A removable screen in the fuel filler. Filler cap has a security chain so it is not misplaced. Metal fuel tank. Even if you will not expose it to harsh conditions; covers over the outlets are important. Wheel hardware quality and fit is excellent. Included oil bottle with exactly the correct amount to fill the engine ( 1.16 qt. ! ) and funnel. The instruction manual is well written. Contains exploded view of product, part number list and wiring schematic. .
