It powers most of my house including my central AC unit. Use it as a home back up power source and it didn't disappoint. Best investment you will make for peace of mind and at a good value. It won't break your pocket and it will deliver more power than most out there at a cheaper price.

I haven't used it beyond filling it with oil and letting it run for an hour to test, but it's a solidly built generator. Assembly out of the box was simple, just 4 bolts and 2 axle pins. I bought it because of Westinghouse's long history with electrical manufacturing, and hopefully their good reputation rings true.

Purchase less then a week ago set up was simple good instructions, The only issue I had when I added the oil that came with the generator with the dip stick Screwed all the way into the motor The measurement was just at the Low oil mark . I expected the oil level to be somewhere between the high and the low marks on the dip stick

I bought this last year and didn't open box for 3 months expecting nothing to be wrong with it. I found it was damaged. Being out of 30 day return time frame, Westinghouse replaced unit. Quite surprised. Customer service was phenomenal. Tested operation on all electric house. Unit fired right up and maintained power to whole house. Easy to start and easy to run. Simple. No more darkness and multiple coats.

After researching and reading some of the nearly all 5 star reviews / ratings regarding the WGen9500c generator, I decided to purchase one. After receiving it, and following the easy start guide and user manual, the generator started at the push of the remoted key fob. It ran extremely smooth and provided the necessary power with no hesitation. Due to Westinghouse's reputation and quality of their products, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well built and dependable protatble generator! I'm completely satisfied. Very nice product! It literally took me 20 minutes to assemble, add oil & gas, and start it up for the first time. The remote control start is a real bonus and will be very helpful during prolonged power outages. The only reason I am not giving four stars is because of the lack of response from technical support. I called on Saturday and it is now Thursday night and no one has gotten back to me for what turned out to be a really simple question that my electrician was able to answer. Otherwise, I love this generator!

This thing is built like a tank. Solid and heavy but easy to move with the wheels and handle. Unpacked and put wheels/rubber mounts on, filled with oil and gas and had it running in less than 30 minutes. Started up on first try. Took the fob to one end of my property at 75yrd and it fired right up.

I bought this generator a month ago in preparation for the hurricane season. It arrived in perfect condition. The setup, startup and break-in was very easy and started right up. I bought this to power my whole house and it has all the power to do that. The machine is very easy to move around even though it weighs over 200 lbs. I start it every month to keep it ready and it starts on the very first push of the button. I couldn't be happier and recommend this generator to everybody, you won't be disappointed.

I have been looking for a generator to power my house in the event of an outage. Lost power last week in the storms and I finally said it's time to get one. After working on westinghouse steam turbines and seeing the quality in the big power generation it's nice to see the quality of work travels down to the portable generators.

Great unit, minimum assembly, oil included, tri-fuel. Haven't had to run it under a load for any length of time yet. I would like to find a longer Nat Gas Line so I won't have to extend the gas pipe in my garage. I bought it because friends that had them recommended the brand.
