I bought this due to my area having a lot of outages and tired of throwing money away because of power not being restored right away (total of 8 days due to winter storm in 2018 and Just recently ISIASIA (hurricane on east coast) I bought in June and didn't use until August. Easy to put together, super easy start up. Bring a first time user of a generator I'm really comfortable using and hooking up and shutting down. With the right gas cans easy to refuel also. Westing house did such a great job on this product and I recommend to anyone we didn't need such a big unit now but we plan on hooking up to home in future

Generator ran well on start up. Getting it ready for home back up. Great that it came with a 50 amp connection. All the features are easy to get to and easy to understand ,comes with a great owners manual. Longer handle would make it easier to move. Overall happy with Westinghouse.

I have bought a model #WGen9500TFc generator 2 months ago. I added oil and gas and hit the remote starter fob, it started right up an hasn't missed a beat so far. This generator runs for 6-10 every third day to charge the batteries in our 5th wheel camper. I would highly recommend this generator for anyone that needs a dependable powerful generator.

We purchased this after riding out a few Hurricanes/tropical storms in the dark after the power was cutoff to the neighborhood. Luckily we haven't had to use it in an emergency but have thoroughly tested it fore performance (under load), and we're liking the response from this unit! Also the remote start is a great feature as going out in the dark to pull start a machine is a real pain in the backside.

This generator can run my 3 ton A/C, all lights, tv, and another decent load. I can run either the microwave, one stove burner or oven, well pump, dishwasher, and even the water heater. My water heater is on a 20 amp 2 pole breaker and draws about 15 amps. The water heater running with the A/C does pull it down quite a bit but it will carry the load. If I was in an emergency situation I would probably just heat the water in the morning and then turn the A/C on. I'm sure it would not run my electric back-up heat in the heat pump in the winter so I am going to put toggle switches at the unit to turn off the 24 volt signal from the t-stat to the electric heat just in case I want to run the heat pump. I have a gas propane wall heater so I really wouldn't need to run it, but it never hurts to have extra options. Very pleased with the design, power, and functionality of this generator. The battery is easy to access.

I have an older smaller generator and purchased this one for its size and power in preparation for the coming winter. We have occasional power outages anyway and now I know I have the power to get through most anything. Searched for a while to get just the right unit and I think I have succeeded.

Brought this unit in Nov 2022, just now got around to starting it up. Started right up and runs great. The electric start is a bonus for this old man, hopefully I won't have to use the cord to often if at all. Has a lot of great features. I have not tried with any load yet as I am just running it right now.

I live in Florida where hurricanes can sometimes knock out power for weeks so I bought this generator to be able to continue a normal life with heat, a/c, and lights and refrigeration. Hope I don't need it anytime soon but it's good to know I am prepared.

I was waiting for a power outage before writing my review. I'm glad I purchased this prior to the last outage that was caused by a bad storm. I have another generator that was cycling badly trying to maintain load. I switched to this generator and it ran smoothly the rest of the night. Family slept soundly knowing we had reliable backup power. Remote was a nice feature that I could use to start up and shut down the generator from my window without having to go out into the storm.

We have friends that recommended this generator and have not had any issues. We live in South Texas and have had our fair share of disasters with weather and no power. The tri-fuel option is a plus because during a disaster you might have to use multiple sources to get power. We want many options after seeing our neighbors Generac whole home generator fail during a disaster. It's reliable and we are ready for the next power outage.
