We bought this generator a few months ago and it was a life saver. We had a hurricane come through and we lost power for 5 days in 98 degree heat. This generator is so easy to start and it ran 2 refrigerators and a full size freezer as well as 2 stand alone portable ac units. We would have lost everything. This generator did not disappoint.

I purchased this as a portable backup generator for our home. Assembly was very easy and straight forward. I filled with the supplied oil, connected the supplied battery, put gasoline in the fuel tank, opened the fuel cock valve, put the choke into choke mode, hit the start button and the engine started up very quickly. The choke automatically goes into run mode. Hooked the generator to some electrical tools and everything ran flawlessly. Very happy with this generator and my purchase!

We live in the middle of the woods. We had thought of going with a whole home generator. Talk about pricey for just a few times a year. We opted to go with one large enough to help if it happens. Super price and my hubby loves the remote start. No more sitting in the dark for us. This will make our life so much simpler. In between, I KNOW my hubby has other ideas on how to use it. Thanks

This is a reliable piece of equipment. It's well made, and much thought was put into it. The remote engine start is an amazing feature. It's very user friendly so you don't have to be mechanically inclined to use it-unlike my last generator. Thanks also for the oil and oil funnel that came with it. We bought this after surviving the winter apocalypse of Texas this year. After extensive research and hours of studying different models and brands this Westinghouse was best for our needs. Not only does it look nice and strong, it has different options to power up our equipment and home appliances. It is user friendly and I hope that it will last for a long time. This is a necessary and good investment for families during times of inclement weather and unexpected power outages. Highly recommend this product!

I've been looking at this for 2 yrs. We live in Northern calif. foothills.Were fires and wind can take out your power at any time.I finally got it and feel so much better now.I have test run it once and it runs the hole house and the well with no problems.I would tell anyone who asks about one to check out Westinghouse first.

Purchased this generator in anticipation of potential PG&E power shut-offs in California in an effort to prevent further wildfires. Had it installed just in time before the first one occurred. I was able to run our home refrigerator/freezer, home office and a few lights off it, perfectly with little interruption. The push button starter and remote on/off made things very easy to operate.
