I purchased the WGen9500c 3 weeks ago. The generator was very easy to assemble even though it weighs over 200 lbs. The quality of the wiring, mechanical and structure is impressive. The manual is very complete with a lot of detail and written to easily understand. I will use this generator with a 10 switch, transfer switch. The generator will provide 50 amps to the switch with 2 additional 20 amp circuits available.

I just received it and it has all the bells and whistles. I guess I didn't read all the product details or all wasn't listed so I was very happy with everything about it. Has push start, remote start, tools, oil and a battery charger for the battery. Super excited to have it and I can tell I will have it for emergencies for a long time to come. I recommend this generator to any looking for one for emergencies. And I was very pleased with price. A lot of bang for your buck.

Bought this a month ago and also I needed a little help to get it going because I've never operated one before. Easy to understand and to get started especially for my first generator. I'm recently a widow so I needed something easy to get going. Love the remote start.

I have a Westinghouse inverter and a pressure washer….not sure I'll ever trust another brand again after the quality I get from Westinghouse products!! I bought the WGen9500c to power my whole house for a long period and it did not disappoint!!! Wired everything up and was running my entire house off the generator for 3 hours and it barely lifted a finger!!! The remote start works perfectly and everything was a very simple setup!! I'll always trust Westinghouse!!!

This generator has all the power I need to run the essentials of of my home. Set up was a easy snap. Directions are also easy to follow. Once you assemble the feet and wheels and fill with the provided oil you are ready to start. After a couple of tries it started right up. I let it run for about an hour before I put a load on it. Then gradually over the next two hours I increased the load. I am able to run lights, two TV's, furnace, two air handlers and well pump all at the same time. very impressed with the design and ease of use. A remote starter is a nice added feature. Now I'm ready for the next power outage.

I bought this unit a little over a month ago now. I installed a 50Amp Outlet on the exterior of my home and a 50 Amp breaker with a mechanical interlock with the main breaker. This has proven to be a really good solution at a substantially lower cost than a standby unit. Yes, I have to flip a couple breakers and roll the unit out my garage and plug it in but that about it. As infrequent power losses are, this is more than adequate for me. The remote start is awesome. I use it to start the unit after it plugged in and I have flipped the breakers in my breaker panel. It's nice that you can shut the unit down to conserve fuel at night or when you leave and start and stop it suing the remote. Really a great idea. The solid tires are a really good move as well. I have used units with air filled tires before and they leak and it makes it very very difficult to move them. The one thing I would like to be different is the location of the 50A outlet on the unit would be for that outlet to be in a different spot, swapped with one of the other outlets. The issue is, the 50A outlet is located on the far right directly above the highest point of the wheel. This creates an obstruction to the natural position of the heavy 50A cable needed to connect to this outlet on the generator. (See attached photo) All of the other outlets require a much lighter duty cable, due to their lower power levels, therefore it would be much better to have one of those (perhaps the 120 vac outlets) above the wheel. It was quite difficult to manipulate the cable to use this outlet with a bottom exit cable which is the most common and safest solution in the event of rain, etc. I gave the unit a 4 Star rating specifically because of this design shortfall. If a 4.5 options was available, I would have selected it. If it wasn't for this, I would have given a 5 star without a doubt.

Great unit, minimum assembly, oil included, tri-fuel. Haven't had to run it under a load for any length of time yet. I would like to find a longer Nat Gas Line so I won't have to extend the gas pipe in my garage. I bought it because friends that had them recommended the brand.

We live in Houston and have lost power a few times due to storms. After much research and many recommendations from others, we decided to buy one of these and have it installed. It should run most of our home, giving us the comfort we need post a prolonged power outage. It is now installed and tests were great. Feeling ready and happy, in case we lose power again. This time we won't have to go camp in a friend's home

I bought this a few days ago have yet to put it through a real test. But it is loaded with great features. It has a fob, electric start, battery charger, and a real neat feature. Called a smart switch ready. Will have to buy that separate but well worth it if you hookup to your house to kick gen on off when regular power kicks on and off. Worth the money

I bought this generator to replace our old one that stopped working during our last storm and am so glad I did. I liked the fact that this is an electric start because my old one was a pull start and too much work. An added plus is the key fob that allows for remote start- no more running outside to pull start! Unboxing was quick and set up required putting feet and wheels on, connecting battery and adding oil(which was included) and gas. It was fairly quick and simple and directions are easy to follow. I couldn't wait to test it out. A few people mentioned how loud this generator was but I am sat it is no longer than any other generatorvi have heard and there are quite a few in my neighborhood. Starting was unbelievably easy. Key fob remote start took just a hold down of start button as did electric start but the real winner was how easy the pull start was- one pull and it started right away. This was such a a pleasant change from our last generator that took many pulls. I like the digital screen that tells you volt output, frequency, and lifetime hours to keep you up to date eith real time info and maintenance needs. There is some important information to know regarding the breaking in period but everything is clearly stated in manual. The manual states that the generator will run for 12 hours on the full 6.6 gallons of gas. The lift up handle and wheels makes it very easy to move around. I have to say I am looking forward to our next power outage now that I have this. I highly recommend!
