The "set-up" to get the generator going is rather simple. The electrician walked me through the steps for operations, which paralleled the owners' manual. So far, I have had one test run which went smoothly, running all that we would need during a power outage. I read many reviews and at this juncture I would agree and am glad for this purchase.

I bought this unit after a heavy rain storm and tornado outbreak downed power lines all over the county. The power was out for 48 hours and then intermittent while new poles were being placed for a total of 5 days without reliable power. I chose the 9500c to ensure I could run most equipment in the house for extended outages. I am happy with the ease of assembly and the clarity of the owners manual. Detailed instructions on short term storage and long term. There is a separate quickstart procedure sheet with a complete maintenance schedule on the back. Assembly tools are included. It is very heavy but the wheels seem very heavy duty and hold the weight, making this easy to roll out. Remember to always get bigger than you think you need so you have room to add and not have to get another generator.

This is my first gas generator purchased in late October. I did quite some online research and decided to go with this brand and model based on our house needs. I am not a handy person yet I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. I set up the wheels and filled up the gas tank, connected the battery then ready to start. It took me a few minutes to realize that I didn't put the gas valve to the "On" position. The electric start really made the start so simple. I let it ran for an hour to help break a little bit. Very satisfied with the experience of getting started. Now I have the generator wired to the panel by an electric engineer and expect it to run the whole house except the AC.

Very easy to assemble. Love the remote start, but not as quick as I expected to come on and turn off with it. The feature of the USB ports is great as we are at cattle shows and sometimes need the access to charge phones. Look forward to using it at the shows as the reason we got the bigger one.

Purchased this generator at a great price. Much more features than my last two generators. We live in south Louisiana, so a generator is a must. Love the USB ports, the different receptacles, and circuit breakers. The data center and battery indicator will come in handy. The CO sensor brings peace of mind! Generator started up on the first try. The remote is an awesome thing to have too, and it started the generator on the first try. I would not hesitate AT ALL to recommend this generator to anyone. I now feel better with the height of hurricane season at hand! I'm so glad I purchased this after reading all the good reviews and seeing all the extra useful features.

I bought this generator to power (most of) my house in the event of a prolonged power outage. I am still getting my house set up for this (added transfer switch, still have to extend the gas line) but I'm excited to test it! It is solid, well packed, and the manual is very clear,

This generator came packaged nicely with very minimal assembly required. Extensive instructions help with all aspects of use storage and maintenance, as well as warranty. This generator packs a lot of power into a compact package and the flexibility to start it with a push of a button or by pulling the cord is nice option. I have not needed to run it yet besides just warming it up and getting the fluids moving but I'm sure it will work when I need it to. I use this as back up power in case of a prolonged electrical outage. My transfer switch was installed by an electrician who assured me that the generator would easily be enough for my 6 selected breakers ( water heater, pump, coal stove, fridge, wifi, etc). Living far away from town having this gives me peace of mind that my property wont suffer from frozen pipes or ruined groceries due to loss of power.

I've used a lot of different generators before for work and this is by far the best one it's strong and power. The trifuel option also comes in really handy when in bind I can easily choose between any of the three option. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

The generator is solid. Only wheels and rubber feet have to be installed. Clip zip tie off and connect battery leads together. Add oil and gas. Program the remote key FOB. It's that easy. Came with a battery trickle charger which is great and I don't have to tie up my larger unit. It is a very heavy unit but the wheels and foldable handle make it easy to move around.
