We are running the generator to try and break it in so that we can put the cold weather oil in. The instructions say it does not work so well in cold weather. I called Westinghouse, which was not so easy to get through to and they said do not worry about it just keep it well maintained. Not very comforting to say the least as we get sub zero weather here. I tried to E mail them on this issue and they have never answered. It does seem like a fine machine though. it starts right up. I should review it in a year after we go through the cold weather. To be fair my research shows generators dont like cold weather. Pay attention to the pinch point on the handle which is well marked. I didn't and dang near chopped off my thumb. Follow the warnings!!

After losing power twice this year we decided on WGen 9500 to power our house in an emergency. Set up was simple. Delivery was to our garage. Everything was in the box (although the remote was a little hard to see). Will let you know more if we have a chance to use it.

Used this unit for about 10 hours under moderate to heavy load on a mobile food trailer and it held up very well so far. Consistent power to my 240v/50amp system which operates multiple heavy load appliances including an electric smoker (1800 watts) and (2) steam tables (1200 watts each). The price and features including electric start have impressed me.

Just bought this last week and charged battery overnight last night and started up this morning. Fob has to be paired to generator to start (unless you want to start manually with pull cord). Pairing process was easy and it started right up. However, the one negative is that you really can't start it remotely as I'd imagined because you have to turn on the gas cutoff to "On" and you have to turn the power switch on, so really no point in having a fob to start it with when you have to go out anyway to do these steps. Also, power cord does not come with it so you will have to purchase one before you can actually use it.

Tri-fuel was important to us as when we lose power, gas stations are closed and we don't want to store large quantities of gas in our garage. The natural gas option provides us endless power for long durations. Electric start is great, plus it has a battery charger to insure it is always prepared.

I just received the 9500. It was incredibly easy to set up, right out of the box. I added the supplied oil and fuel and it started right up on the first pull. I then tried the electric start and the remote start fob and for each of them the start was effortless and immediate.I can't wait for our next power failure to be able to put this generator to full use.

I bought this generator as an upgrade to my current 8000 watt generator. My old generator was good but just couldn't keep up with running everything I wanted to run when the power goes out. This puppy has every feature I wanted, or would ever need, and packs a ton of power! I can now run everything in my whole house when a storm knocks out my power. The only thing I don't run is my central AC unit. Rather I run a 14,000 btu and 8,000 btu portable ACs without an issue. I live very comfortably when my power goes out!

We are very happy with our generator purchase. The shipping was timely and it arrived in perfect condition. The manual and setup were easy to follow. We did start it up and it ran perfectly. We really like the manual start button and bonus remote start feature. This generator has enough power to run everything we will need during a power outage.

Great generator will easily power my house the next time there is an outage. Started on the first try the remote starter was already programmed. Also I didn't think the generator was very loud for the amount of power it provides. This is a great purchase Westinghouse has been doing it for a long time so I trust this product.

Just received a box with my new wgen9500 generator. Put this sucker together in about ten minutes, filled the oil and gas tanks and started on 3rd manual pull. I then went to electronic start a BANG——worked great. Highly suggest that if you are looking for a great product, get cracking and buy this thing. Great for our Florida hurricanes.
