I just bought the WGen9500 generator 2 weeks ago to power my home during power outages and am very pleased with it thus far. I feel that I made a great investment especially in time of need when this will be put to work. Based on my research, you can't beat Westinghouse products. I will definitely entertain purchasing products from Westinghouse in the future.

This generator came with everything, wheel kit, battery, tool kit, oil funnel, even a quart of oil. It started right up with the push button start also with the remote fob.I plugged it into my transfer switch and ran my entire house AC and water heater no problem. Iam very happy with this generator and highly reccomend it.

I just got this today. It was a little beat up during shipment (scuffs, scratches and a dent I noticed after speaking to customer service). I called customer service and they were great and we settled any problems. They took care of everything. Later I started it up using the remote and it started first try. Let it run a few minutes and tested out the 50amp outlet. It all worked well. Hopefully if we lose power again this thing lives up to all the other reviews I read. I only gave 4 stars because of the additional time I spent on phone and shipping.

This item has been a lifesaver. When I have lost power at my house due to all the storms that roll through the Panhandle I do not have to worry about not having the power to some to the day-to-day items when we have to ride out a storm. I am so glad I bought it. If anyone is thinking about getting this item you need to buy it you will not regret it.

As a qualified electrician of more than 24 years, a lover of quality craftsmanship, and a highly critical individual, I can undoubtedly say that I am very impressed with this fine piece of electrical machinery. I would recommend my Westinghouse 9500 to anyone. Powerful yet portable. Classy yet simple. Followed start up instructions and it worked like a champ right out of box. You need to add another couple of oz of 10-30 oil to fill on top of the qt provided. Charged the battery for about 5 min to get a full charge, used the FOB to start, 3 tries and it fired right up! Its not as loud as other generators I have used, definitely a quality product. I haven't had to use it yet but I'm ready for the storm season.

We often have power outages during the summer and winter months. I wanted a powerful generator to run most devices in my small home. This generator fit the bill perfectly. The best feature is that it will run on gas, propane, or natural gas. I am installing the gas line and have my interlock kit set up on my main panel. I hate to say I'm looking forward to our next power outage, but I am.. a little ;-)

Living in Texas, installing a back-up power supply has been on my to do list for years. Just finished testing this generator with a transfer switch system and I am very satisfied with the results. Whether faced with a hurricane or freezing temperatures I feel much more able to handle any situation.

Bought this due to 3 lengthy blackouts and decided I'm too pampered to deal with no septic, water, A/C, edible food. This should power up whatever I need easily. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but strangely looking forward to it. Will review again after next outage.

I bought this about 3 months ago and we just had a tornado come through. This house keeps on running with this generator so no worries about losing any food and stay cool. Being able to switch from different fuels is nice when needed. Would defiantly would buy this again.
