With the super freeze last year I decided to invest in a generator and after doing some research I settled on the Westinghouse WGen9500. The set up is super easy and believe anyone can do it. Just unbox, add front legs, 2 wheels, add oil, gas, connect the battery plug and start it. The generator does not sound too loud for its size either. Seems like a great purchase and good value for 9500k running unit.

bought this to replace a generac that has seen better days. Haven't had to use it yet, but the setup was pretty straightforward and started up after a few presses of the start button. after getting it started outside for the first time, the remote start worked from inside the house as I hoped.

I recently bought this product after experiencing not having power due to Hurricane Beryl. My wife and I stayed with my son-in-law because they have a Westinghouse generator. I was impressed by how powerful it is and has great features too. I decided to buy a Westinghouse Wgen9500c series. I am confident of this great product.

Purchased this unit six weeks ago. Unboxing and set-up went very smoothly. I utilized a 4-wheel dolly to set the shipping box on which made it very convenient to unpack and maneuver the unit around. It was easy to install the wheels and the foot brackets while the unit sat on the 4-wheel dolly. My first test of the unit, after properly adding the oil, and going through the remainder of the set-up instructions, was using propane gas as the fuel. The unit started up right away. I ran the generator for about 30 minutes with no problems. About two weeks later, after getting the proper connector for my house natural gas, I tested with natural gas. The generator did not start immediately, but on the second start attempt. Again I ran the unit for about 30 minutes with no problems. At this point, about two months after purchase, I am very satisfied with this Westinghouse tri-fuel capable generator.

Just purchased and setup the Westinghouse 9500 generator. It was very easy to setup and started up right away. I purchased to connect to my home in the event of a hurricane with resulting power outages. Been through several already and I'm finally prepared!

So far very happy. Bought and broke in to Westinghouse recommendations via HDdotcom also got a great deal from them. I'd give 4-1/2stars if i could as my concerns thus far are minor. I don't like the location of the ground terminal under the 50amp receptacle it protrudes a little for my 90degree plug but it's still fine. My other concern is that I just don't like the wheels being attached by a cotter pin. When full of gas and rolling the wheels are angled just doesn't seem strong to last a long time. All in all does what its supposed to do so far so I would recommend

Our rural Nebraska town shut down our 100 year old power plant and started buying power from a 17 state consortium. Electrical power has been unreliable since, subject to weather, storms, and rolling blackouts. So I bought this generator and had an electrician wire it up through a transfer switch. It powers my entire house during a blackout and turns on by pressing a button on s fob. My house is only 500 sq ft, so this solution is perfect for me. It's quality construction and works reliably. I'm very pleased.

We bought our WGen9500c generator after losing power during the last hurricane. We were out of power for 8 days and the generator made the situation bearable. The WGen9500c allowed us to maintain our 2 freezers, refrigerator, some lights, and most importantly, our portable air conditioner. I can't believe how efficient and easy this product performed under some tough conditions, not to mention the price was very reasonable. Thanks for a great product.

After the recent hurricane in Florida, I needed to purchase a new generator. After reviewing numerous reviews the Westinghouse Wgen9500c had the features and power necessary to support my needs in a hurricane and for other power needs. Pleased with the purchase.

I bought this March 2021 and waited until I used it enough to know the unit to write a review. Shipping was on time, delivery drivers respectful of my investment, the box in showroom condition and not a scratch on the generator. The first startup was interesting, oil added and I went to pull the cord a few times to run oil up in the motor but it started on the first easy pull. Breakin was easy, oil changing no issue. Then I had back surgery so it sat for a few months. I didn't put fuel stabilizer in it so when I rolled it out I wondered what would happen but when I turned it on, hit the remote it started right up. I researched a bunch of generators before buying and Westinghouse was always top rated for a number of reasons so I bought the WGen9500 and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I highly recommend this generator for features performance and price, you will not be disappointed.
