I haven't had to use this in a power outage yet but we did do a test and I am confident this generator will be reliable and perfect for my families needs. The set up was so easy and It started up perfectly and powered everything we needed. The generator was much quieter than our old generator and the remote control is wonderful. I'm not wishing for a power outage but when one happens I'm more confident freezers will stay frozen and we will be comfortable

I received this generator 2/14/24. It was unboxed & immediately put to work. The one I purchased has the dual option for either natural gas or gasoline. The features this generator also comes with is it gives us the luxury of remote starting it or stopping it. This generator is exactly what me & my need for the weather storms that knock out power.

Had an electrician install plug to our electrical panel. We had a plumber install a quick connect to our natural gas line. Super easy to connect generator and remove and store when needed. There are several steps to shut power from house off but your electrician will help you with the procedure.

We upgraded to this more powerful W.Gen9500 generator after experiencing a few hurricanes here in South Texas and realizing we needed more generator power for the appliances we wanted to run during an outage. It arrived on time and in good shape and started up immediately. We bought an adapter (shown as optional purchase) and added it to the end of our extension cord to allow for multiple plug in options. Rated 4 star because we actually have not had occasion to use it yet. Hopefully, it will turn out to be a 5-star product!

The gen. Is great and so far the only problem I had was the way and condition of the box it was delivered in. The two guys that delivered the gen had Destroyed the box. It had holes through out the box and the bottom was wide open. The delivery guy's destroyed the box trying to show me any damage. Even though the box was a mess the gen. Was still in good shape.

Our power was out for 4 days and our neighbor had a generator. They were generous enough to offer us to plug into theirs to keep our refrigerator running. I decided we needed one of our own and was impressed with the description and features of the WGen9500, so I purchased one.

I've only had this generator a few days now. I purchased this to replace a smaller one that is 30 years old. I only use when loosing power at my house, which is happening more often than several years ago. I have started it with gasoline and natural gas and even switched back and forth will it was running. So far, this generator is fantastic and has a lot of extras, including a remote and Carbon monoxide detector.

I bought this several months ago after losing power to my home on Christmas eve. Fortunately, at the time, I had two strong teenage boys to carry water out of the basement 5 gallons at a time so our basement did not flood due to the sump pump being out of commission. This feller can help us turn what could be a miserable, long night into an easy 5 minute, "GOT YOUR BACK!" Runs nearly my entire house.

I learned that I needed a new breaker box service panel and decided to have a manual transfer switch installed at the same time. I purchases the WGen 9500 for backup power to the house in the event of a power outage. The recent Kincade fire in Sonoma Co. CA caused the utility to shut down power to our area for several days. The Wgen9500 generator was used for several hours each day to warm up the house and to keep food cold/frozen in the fridge. The push-button starter feature is really nice and saves some time and labor, although I did start it with the pull-starter just to see how it would do (started easily). An excellent product. The only improvement I'd recommend on it is to beef up the muffler and make it a bit quieter so that the neighbors aren't annoyed.

This is a very good option for home home backup. It runs everything on my transfer switch, which keeps the house functioning during a power outage. Keep in mind that to truly exploit the wattage output you need to be using a 30 amp or 50 amp connection. I have heard people say that this will not run much more than a refrigerator, but that is simply not true. When paired with a transfer switch, this generator can run all that you need to get through a power outage. Wish it was a little quieter, but I lover all very good.
