Bought this for the pending power outages from the riots. Unboxed, filled oil and gas and attempted to start. Took a LONG time to start, I guess working gas thru the system. Never owned a generator before. Its loud but not nearly as loud as I expected. Like a push behind lawn mower.

I purchased this after reading many reviews on this and other generators. I was put off by a number of negative reviews. Decided to buy the Westinghouse because it had the best comments and ratings. I have only had it 3 days and was finally able to get it prepped today. Started on the first try with the battery start and didn't even need to choke it. It appears to be a quality built unit with quality materials. I will review again in a few days after I have had a chance to run it more.

I just purchased this to power my off grid shop. My Dad has the 7500 and we loved it. I was able to run my aor conditioner, Millermatic 220v welder, and everything else I the shop using the rv 30 amp plug in The 9500c has a 30 amp and 50 amp plug.

My family is amazed with the power that the WGen9500 generates. We had an electrical company come out and install an emergency backup electrical outlet panel. By connecting the WGen9500 to the backup panel in times of need we will be cool in the summer, warm in the winter plus have 6 other circuits covered, which basically encompasses our entire house. I received this generator 2/14/24. It was unboxed & immediately put to work. The one I purchased has the dual option for either natural gas or gasoline. The features this generator also comes with is it gives us the luxury of remote starting it or stopping it. This generator is exactly what me & my need for the weather storms that knock out power.

Typing this review because today I just received my WGen9500TFc. All I gotta say is wow this thing is a beast heavy super heavy came in damaged so that's a good start other than that can't complain, I wanted to turn it on to try it out but the oil it comes with is not enough so I have to buy more to break in the motor and see how it hold up

Had A Westinghouse 7500 for eight years and never had a problem. Started every time and worked great! Sold this one to a friend and just recently purchased the 9500 to be able to run more items . High quality item and wouldn't think of buying a different brand. Very very satisfied!!!

Due to the Hurricane that recently impacted Houston, TX; getting a generator was a must. After doing some research, and actually seeing it in action this was top of the list. 9500 running will power all of the essential items in my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home.

I originally bought this generator after we had an extended power outage that spoiled all the food in our fridge. Now I found other uses such as running a generator where I don't have 220 outlets handy. Only complaint is that it is a little loud but that is the case for all generators of this size so I can't really knock it there. Great unit!
