I bought this to use being that I live in a rural area and we have a lot of hurricanes and this product meets my needs and more, it was easy to put together and it is well put together. Everything worked awesome when I hooked it together for a test run making sure everything works in the event that it's ready when needed and it was. Just praying that we don't have any hurricanes but I will be ready if so. I highly recommend this product!!

We have been kicking around the idea of buying a generator for fifteen years or so, and we always seem to wait until a power outage, when they are already sold out, to pull the trigger. This time, we finally took the step and based on reviews by other buyers, plus the size and output, we chose this one. We had it delivered to the house, and once I opened the box, I was able to set it up and start it in about 20 minutes, which included reading directions. We have not used it in an emergency yet, nor have we had it on a trickle charger for any length of time to see how that works out, but the key fob starter worked like a champ, as did the start button on the control panel.

I purchased this generator to power up the little Coffee Den we built. I am pleased with the WGen9500. Delivers the power. Easy set up. Hit the key fob and the power station come to life. Break in was simple. Looked at many generator and shoped around for a couple months. I'm happy with the generator.

After a lot of research we chose the Westinghouse 9500 generator as or back-up power source for our house. Best bang for the buck! This is a well built machine with the features we wanted. It arrived quickly and required minimal assembly (tires and oil). I also plan on using the generator for working around our property. Overall extremely happy with this purchase.

We just bought this in case we have another power loss. It hasn't happened yet but the generator starts great and we are running it every few weeks to keep it from seizing up. Hope we don't get hit again with another hurricane but if we do we are prepared.

I just bought this about a month ago and started it up the first time connected to my house 50 amp connection. I had installed an EasyStart on my AC unit and picked up the load with no issues. Like everybody this is just an insurance policy just in case of a loss of power. Absolutely satisfied with my purchase.

This is a very good option for home home backup. It runs everything on my transfer switch, which keeps the house functioning during a power outage. Keep in mind that to truly exploit the wattage output you need to be using a 30 amp or 50 amp connection. I have heard people say that this will not run much more than a refrigerator, but that is simply not true. When paired with a transfer switch, this generator can run all that you need to get through a power outage. Wish it was a little quieter, but I lover all very good.

After filling with oil & gas and starting up for the first time, I was impressed with the digital readout & other features of this unit. We had previously purchased a Westinghouse 3500 gas unit a few years back, and that had a great influence on purchasing this one.

After looking at many generators, I settled on the WGen9500, and it appears that I made the right choice. I received it in 2 business days after ordering and everything was in perfect condition. It only took about 10 minutes to install the wheels and feet. I then filled it with the provided oil, which by the way was in a container with the exact amount it required [1.1 liters] and fresh gas, opened the gas valve and it started immediately on the first try and ran perfectly. It is surprisingly quieter than my previous generator and I am very pleased with this product.

Sold a 20 year old 4500 watt… The WGEN9500 seems as quiet, with a bigger tank and the same ease of starting. Test was a 1/2 hp compressor for 60 mins. The old gen would gun up when the compressor kicked on - the 9500 does not even notice. If you have an older generator.. now is the time to upgrade. I am not much of a prepper.. but let's face it, if you can cover a day or two outage with a generator you will save your fridge, your hotel costs and - like this February maybe keep your pipes from freezing. That is why i doubled my old capability. These outages are getting a lot worse….
