Awesome Product

I originally had a diesel generator that could power my whole home in a power outage, this unit is not only has more wattage, but is insanely quiet. I couldn't believe when I first started it how quiet it was. Everything worked as it should, so far I am impressed with it, after I finish the break in period I will hook it up and give it a crack at powering the entire home.

Amazing generator!

Bought this generator after having to go through no power due to Hurricane Beryl. I have tested it and it can power my 2 ton AC plus other appliances without any issues via the 50 amp plug. Expected it to be hard to move but it is extremely easy even for my 70 year old dad.

Runs great

I bought this a couple weeks ago and have no issues with it so far. Ran it a couple time for short periods with no load to break in the motor a bit. Last night we ran the whole house off it for a trial run in case we need it this winter. Did all we could expect it to, no problems.

Hurricane preparedness on point

I bought this after Hurricane Sally left us with significant damage and no electricity for weeks. Before the next hurricane we decided a generator was a necessity and not a want. While we hope to never have another damaging storm we are relieved to know we can at the very least comfortably function with hot showers and safe food during recovery efforts.

Enough to power whole house

After adding oil and fuel and putting wheels on, it started up and ran perfectly right out of the box. Haven't been able to get the key fob remote start to pair but I'm sure I will when I become more familiar with this model. NOTE: pay attention to instructions for the break-in period. You'll have a better, longer lasting machine for doing so.

Awesome

I just received my 9500 W Westinghouse generator and I am really happy with it. I live in California and we've been getting power outages. The only thing I would say is I got nine hours out of one tank although my whole house is electric so it was probably pulling harder. Other than that small little complaints, this is the one I wanted and I'm glad I got it.

So far....worth the money

I bought this generator to ensure that my whole house was covered in the case of an emergency. I followed the start-up directions, read the manual and am happy to report that it has started up with no problem! I tested the manual start, the electric start and the remote start, all with no issues. I can't wait to get my tranfer switch installed and put this beast to the test!

Kept us cool

After a bad wind and rain storm rolled through Houston a few weeks, leaving us without power for a few days, I knew I had to get a portable generator. I wanted one with fuel options (gas, propane or natural gas). After doing some research I decided to buy the Westinghouse 9500TFC generator. Hurricane Beryl hit Houston on July 7/8. I was able to keep three fridges, a portable AC unit and a few other appliances running. Could have run more but had not got an electrician out to set it up to my electrical box so we can have lights. No central air though.

Storm ready !

I've owned several generators over the years, but this one by far has seem to be the most versatile. Being in Texas, we often find ourselves out of power So having a good reliable source gives me great comfort that my family is safe and my property stays safe as well.
