Looking to upgrade from my old 5000W generator and with much research decided to go with Westinghouse WGen9500. Just arrived today 1/9/19, unboxed and set up in 45 minutes. Shipped from Amazon.com in perfect condition. Started 3 seconds after pushing the start button, runs quiet compared to my old generator and looks great. Ran my 5 HP air compressor off 120V outlet and generator ran smooth with no drag. Plan to wire into house transfer switch to supply power during outage. Great features, powerful, looks great and I'm sure will serve my needs. Very satisfied with this purchase !!

This is a great generator that provides maximum flexibility (Natural Gas / Propane / Gasoline)! I have it hooked up to a generator transfer switch for home power outages running on natural gas but it's also portable and I can take it camping and run off propane. Be prepared!

After researching portable generators for quite some time and suffering through frequent power outages (a 6 day one last fall) we finally bought the WGen9500. It's a beast and everything the other reviews say it is. It will soon be wired into a manual transfer switch. Neighbors already came to see it and realized that doing this in the fashion we are, is a lot more cost effective than the large automatic ones that can cost 5K. I'll be building a sound reducing enclosure for it before the winter. Glad we finally have it!

Bought this in preparation for hurricane season. Love the tri-fuel and battery features--has both push button and wireless remote control startup options. Set it up to run on propane--used the remote control and it started on second attempt (as expected). So far, so good.

Bought this because we will lose power everything time we get bad weather and I needed something that would keep my food cold as well as allow my child to play her video games. I haven't had a chance to run it when there is no power but will provide additional updates when that occur.

I bought this for a spare Generator for my home backup. Very nice compared to my Honda knockoff DuroMax which is a pretty good generator also, though this one has more features and comes complete. Haven't used it for backup yes, only started it with Propane.

After the five hour break in using natural gas, we plugged the generator into our houses power inlet box and every thing worked great. With a soft starter added to our 3 ton AC this generator easily keeps up with the electric needs of our 1200 sqft house. Hopefully we're ready for the next storm or freeze.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. The generator itself is easily movable and maintainable. It is a great product. It's helping during a situation like the one we knew three weeks ago with hurricane beryl. It can run my entire house appliances and AC without issue it's great !

I just bought this after the Texas winter storm of 2021 when our power was shut off for a week. The shipping was right away and it came just as advertised. I've got it all set up with a test run and ready for the next time we lose power so we don't ever have to be without heat again!

Just bought it, but it really seems to be a well built generator. Hooked it up to propane to begin with and it started right up. Does a good job of powering the house and shop. Mainly want it for lights, freezers and refrigerators and it does good for that. Bring on the bad weather....... I'm ready for you now.
